I really enjoyed living at Simpsons, i felt safe and felt that the facilities were good as far as uni halls get. The lenton area (20 min walk from city centre or 5 min on bus) feels safe because so many students live there from both Trent and Uni of. I shared a kitchen with 7 people which was a great way to meet people, it also meant there was always someone around. There is 2 fridges and freezers, one oven which is more than manageable. The bedrooms are a good size, obviously those nearer the kitchen are more noisy. The staff at Simpsons are friendly and it feels safe to have a 24/7 security desk. Only downside is the price is a little expensive, but you do get an ensuite which is fab. Decor is outdated, but a lot better than most halls i saw in first year. I would recommend Simpsons 100% to live in your first year

the facilities were shocking considering how much you pay. The interiors are so dated and my furniture was falling apart. In additon to my shower being moldy. The staff were all lovely and helpful. The location is a 20 mins walk into town. and 5 mins to NTU on a bus, less than a 3 mins walk from Salisbury local and 5 mins to Tesco express. Despite the condition of the halls themselves I do not regret choosing Simpsons. Its a quiet area surrounding the halls and a relativity quiet halls perfect for someone who wants to separate uni life and home life.

The accommodation was secure, comfy, spacious and filled with many fun people. The staff are friendly and always very helpful.

Social life is great but the actually facilities are sub-par... has several issues with appliances but easy to look past because on an easy bus route into uni as well as living in a student friendly area

Was really good. However I think the constant fire alarms are a bit of a joke. But the rest was awesome like the activities they set up.

These student halls are good as they have all the necessary facilities that every student needs to live at university. Also, I have my own ensuite shower room so it is good that I do not need to share with anyone else. The kitchens are a decent size with plenty of fridge space. However the halls are not modern as they have old fashioned curtains.

Good location, facilities are okay? could do with more washing/tumble dryers. More activities after freshers week would have made the social experience better.

I've got a bigger room, everything's really nice. As a flat we get on well but the accommodation is quite far from the uni.

Location was a bit far from the university but love the area, en suite toilets and lovely court yard, everyone was so lovely and made some friends for life
