Good facilities and community but staff are not always helpful with problems and fixing issues. Events put on are well organised but expensive.

Lovely room and loads of cupboard space in the kitchen for the fridge and freezer they are very good too however the social space is just the kitchen. Which has just like 6 plastic chairs, a table and that’s it. Would’ve great too have a sofa or maybe two and even a TV! Seen loads of other unis with this. Also if you we are really pushing the boat out then a double bed in the room lol. Toilets good too but the social part is terrible and their is no student bar like the accommodation on campus have with good deals.

It’s not too far from the uni, and some of the events during freshers week and around Christmas were great! I mean free food is all self catered students want! In my first week I think i only made cooked twice! ??. The room was a bit smaller than expected and weirdly didn’t have a sink (in standard room in upper court), and apart from that and a lack of a social space in or close to the flat. It wasn’t so bad ?? Most of the friends i’ve made and the people i’ve met live in Broadgate! It’s obviously the place to be ????

I live in Lower Court, which is across the street from the main Broadgate park. The Blocks are somewhat smaller so you know most of the faces of people who live in your block, but the compared to main Broadgate the kitchens are very small, it can barely accommodate for when all of us who live in the flat (5) want to be there at the same time. Broadgate is about a 5 minute walk into West Entrance of the Uni, so not bad and takes me about 15 minutes to get to most of my lectures which are in the Trent building.

4 stars only because the variation of accomodation is tremendous, however the 'worser' ones (that im in) are still absolutely fine!

Very secure. Although it is quite far away from town and QMC, there are many buses that go into town. Rooms are a good size, good kitchen space, enjoyed staying there a lot.

Good first place but maintenance etc can be quite slow, good potential for facilities but quite a lot is broken. Lucky enough to be put in a smallish block so that we all socialised with the other flats and have made such good friends with everyone in the block not just my flat

Broadgate is located close to the university entrance, but about 20 minutes walk to most big lecture theatres and the main library. Standard rooms with little extra amenities and poor internet connection based on my experience. Socially, living in a studio, the experience was poor as the only communal space was in the common room which nobody used. People liked to keep themselves to themselves in the block I stayed in.
