Located in Sutton Bonington village, which is quite deserted, so a car is definitely useful if you can afford one! Otherwise, need to rely on deliveries for shopping. The village itself is very nice, with events on like firework displays, and a Christmas market in the very near village of Kegworth. The area of Sutton Bonington itself is beautiful, the canal especially. Great place to go for walks. Sutton bonington student village feels like a small community- you know almost everyone on campus, which is great. I can only comment on standard accommodation as I haven't lived in the other types, such as en suite, but the maintenance staff are very helpful - any issue in your flat and they come fix it asap! -, and all rooms are good, despite how much you pay. However there is high variance in room size and facilities (such as kitchen worktop space) between flats that are the same standard of accommodation. Need to always travel for a good night out in the city though, and therefore need to get a taxi home (at a set £18.50 fee), but this is fine if you get at least 3 people (including yourself) to split it with.
