I lived in nelson court last year, the location was perfect-it was right opposite the student shop, laundrette and LCR it was a dream. It was £150 a week which was quite pricey and the kitchen was a bit factory like, however the rooms were big and spacious and I had the best year of my life in first year with all the pres at our flat and socials at the bar across the field.

I was a bit scaptical when given this accomidation as i couldnt find any pictures anywhere. But after moving in, its really good! The rooms are amazingly spacious with plenty of room to bring another storage box and put up a clothing airer. The bathrooms are a nice size though sometimes the water can be a bit tricky to manage. Overall though Nelson Court is in a great vicinity from everything you need on campus, being a two minute walk away from the shop, laundrette, bar and clubs. The only thing i will say is that the kitchens dont have much storage but if you get flat 16 or 23 you'll be fine as they have just been refurbished. Overall a great place to live for first years.

The size of my room, location and social experience were all fab, was so close to everything on campus which was great. The kitchen was probably the worst part about the halls but that had more to do perhaps with how untidy my housemates were but I did also feel that one microwave/oven was not enough for a house with 10 people in.

Fab accommodation with great en suite rooms and an amazing location. So close to all the lecture theatres, shop and social areas such as the pub and LCR.

Very good location with only a 5 minute walk to central campus where the shops are located. In terms of social experience, there's the LCR on campus (again only 5 minutes from Nelson Court). The bus stop is only 5-10 minute walk which drops off in town close by to many night clubs. The kitchen is minimal with not much storage space, no oven, and no area to relax. The room itself is larger than most and very comfortable but the ensuite shower has temperamental hot water.

It had a lovely view over the lake and is near the su shop so good for popping out and buying things! the room is a good size with enough space for everything and the washroom is good although would be better if there was an actual shower tray so it didn’t flood. It was sometimes a bit noisy because it is near the LCR. the kitchen cupboards are also a bit too small and you can’t fit much in them.
