Newcastle is a fun city for a night out! But once you've done it, you've done it all. You will be going to the same nights over and over, but if you enjoy them then that's fine. There's unfortunately no Zara in the centre of town and getting out to the metro centre via bus/train is a bit of a pain just to see what's new. Fenwicks is good. Not many others. There are a LOT of chain restaurants, i'd Like to know a bit more about the independent ones but as of yet they're not advertised as much, other than down by the quayside. I'd like there to be more in town. Student vibes are great, everyone is young and fun and up for a laugh. Can't understand the accent lol.

Newcastle is the best city for students. Everythings from universities to shopping and clubbing are all really close and you can easily walk to all of them. No need for taxis or underground at all. As far as it comes to shopping we have Northumberland street that has every shop you desire including restaurants.More over on Northumberland street is the main entrance to Eldon square which is a shopping mall. In Eldon square there are fahsion shops like Topshop, RiverIsland New look, Misselfridge, Levis, All saints and many more. There is also a huge department of Fenwicks where you can find high-end brands like Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein etc. Perfume shops electronic shop anything you need is in Eldon square! Eldon square consists a lot of buildings that are all conected to each other. One of the buildings has restaurants like Frankies& Bennys, Ask italian, TGI Fridays, Nandos, wagamama, tapas tortilla and many more. There are also starbucks, nero, costa etc. Bars you should go in Newcastle is Botanist which also plays lovely live music and has amazing interior design and great cocktails. Alchemists is onether bar you should go. There are plenty more that I haven't yet tried so dont worry. Clubs : we have tiger tiger which plays different music in every room and its a 2 floors huge club. Tup Tup Palace club plays great rnb music and has really cheap drinks. There are many more that i dont remember names. Overall Newcastle has the best student life!
