Verde is the best place to stay for first year! It’s next door to the business school and 15 mins walk (max) from main campus. 5 min walk from The Gym but there is also a free mini gym inside the building. The cinema area has a massive super comfy sofa which you can lunge on and watch TV or a film of your choice with blackout curtains to ensure a true cinema experience. On the social area there is also a table tennis and fusbol table. The rooms are nicely sized each with its own private bathroom. And a shared kitchen with modern appliances.

Verde is a state of the art environment with a lot of social spaces and fun activities to bring residents together and have fun, while there are plenty of resources and facilities that also support your studies. Would highly recommend . - josh b

Location was very central, close to both town and in walking distance to uni. The rooms were good sizes and kitchen area was spacious. We were given all basic kitchen appliances and maintainence was rapid and efficient.

Very close to city centre and University campus so very handy for getting around. Almost everything in walking distance so little to no need for any other forms of transport such as taxis or metros which is great when it comes to saving money. The rooms are all ensuite, spacious and nice decor. Flats of six so a good number to meet new people, but not too over whelming. Next door to St James park, but the noise is not an issue area is just busy on match days. Overall, nice halls, good facility and ideal location.

Central location, brilliant facilities (including games room, cinema room, gym) 24h security and all rooms are en suite. Flats are quite spacious and only 6 per flat.

Overall verde is a very modern, clean facility with great facilities. The rooms have good storage space and the bathrooms are modern. The only negative thing I would say is that it’s all very grey, which is a shame because of the amount of money that was put into the building. In our first week there they organised free pizza and beer and a night out, which was a good way to get to know people. Beware when you’re knocking on doors to meet other flats though, as some of your neighbours will be couples and postgrads in studios.

Handy location, nice accommodation but very secluded socially. Modern facilities that include the common room which has a table tennis table, pool table and cinema room. Gym is basic but is good as not many accommodations have one. Room is modern however can be dark during the day and a slight lack of privacy as business school is directly opposite. Colour scheme is modern but can be dull at times, lovely kitchen but use of space is not used wisely. Cleaner doesn’t really clean the communal spaces like corridors much but just stands on her phone all day. Shocking that they have been carrying out building works to remove panels all academic year and still isn’t finished. Has been inconvenient and very distributive.

Everything is really new and when anything broke the people at reception were helpful. There was never any fire alarms going off in the middle of the night and noise wasn’t too bad between flats. Really good location near town.

Awful social aspect, yet great rooms. Might be classed as a tad expensive, however great central location.

I got a premium room. Very spacious and could pass for a studio except without the kitchen??. The facilities are top notch and the staff is really friendly. The security is very good as you need your fob to access any building or rooms. ??
