The room is excellent! Plenty of space, under bed storage and large drawers! Decent size bathroom with a powerful shower! Large desk space! Can get a good view over Newcastle when in the right room otherwise you face the other buildings! The kitchen area is large with plenty of fridge and freezer space! BONUS: there is a washing machine and a dryer so you don’t pay for washing! NEGATIVE: the location is a bit of pain some days, metro is super cheap with it being about £25 for the month if you’re lazy! Or it’s 15 minute into the city centre by walking!

Facilities amazing, well located, very quiet halls staff friendly, seem to lose a lot of your parcels and wifi is horrendous constantly logs you out. The best security of any halls hands down . Definitely the best of the ensuite Northumbria halls

Large living area with a very nice modern design, however long walk to the uni, although getting the metro is an option.

The flats themselves are lovely, big kitchen that includes a washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher! Wooden floors in all rooms makes it easy to clean. The location it is in is brilliant as it is directly on top of a huge tesco and has loads of takeaways and other shops nearby and is right next to a metro station too. It's about a 20 minute walk into town, straight across Tyne bridge, or the metro is literally one stop away from central station. Staff are brilliant and I always felt safe whilst I was there. Social events are thrown in the hub so it's easy to meet people if you want to get involved in that too.

The rooms and flats are good sizes, and has everything you'll need for first year. We found using the social areas/ pods for uni work were super helpful and they're open 24/7. Accommodation is located quite far from city centre and both uni's but there's a metro at trinity which takes you to centre of town. Overall I'd say it is quite over priced but of all the student accommodations I've been to in NCL it's one of the best.

Very nice. Clean. Lovely staff, Tesco underneath is amazing for all your shopping. Few strange people who lives in Gateshead however this isn't too much of a concern

The size and the layout of my room is fantastic. The best part about living in this halls is the social experience, it allowed me to meet a new group of friends that all go to the same university as me which socially allowed me to settled down both in university and in halls.

In my experience, Trinity Square has been a very poor accommodation. I shared a studio with my partner on the top floor of the complex. It was always to warm to do anything and the design of the rooms wouldn't allow any airflow what so ever. The water was constantly out meaning we had to travel to the university campus to have a shower. Staff are not very helpful at all either. Alright location when it's a nice day but when its raining, you're forced to either pay for the metro or get wet through.

The accomodation itself is no where near the university campus, but on the other side of the bridge in gateshead, however it is in a nice area with a cinema, nandos, burger king, large tesco extra etc right on the doorstep and the metro station is a few minutes walk away. The rooms are small, but have everything you need - nice ensuite. Kitchens are well equipped with washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, kettle, microwave, fridge/freezer and large oven. The flats do tend to get very hot and stuffy due to the layout of and the lack of ventilation - there are fire doors theoughout which are required to be shut at all times and the windows have restrictors meaning they only open a couple of cm, this creates a very unpleasant atmosphere in which to live, sleep and study. The staff are very strict and the rules are tight considering this accomodation is aimed at first year students who are most likely moving away from home for the first time. There is a noise curfew of 11pm after which if you make the slighest of noise you will find security waltzing into your flat (without knocking) ruining whatever is going on and then continuing to harrass you for the rest of your time there. Security staff also like to enter your flat without knocking as many times as humanely possible just to make ‘health and safety’ checks, to the point where you feel personally victimised and anxious. This is only a small snapshot of the ways in which your time at university will be ruined if you choose to live at trinity square!

Trinity Square was a lovely accommodation in itself. It was very clean the rooms are big and having your own en suite is a huge bonus. It was 25 min walk from uni so not ideal in that respect but you could get the metro if you're not broke. The security is tight and always about so no funny business can really go on which is a bit of a shame because that's what your first year is all about. However it is good that the security are there and help you.

There isn't much care on noise complain and the value quality price is not reliable In case someone making too much noise during night time and get complain don't receive a fine to learn what they did wrong and don't repeat the same mistakes. I wouldn't come back to this accommodation again

Amazing accommodation, not far from the uni if you go on the metro. You can easily do shopping and there are group chats to meet up up with people in your block.

Good location for a student without a car. Shops are nearby and Gateshead Metro is a 2 minute walk away. Sodexo are quick to give out fines without consideration for the residents and take a long time to tend to any repairs. A nice social halls with plenty of opportunity.

Great location on top of a 24 hour Tesco, cinema and Burger King, great reception with staff working 24/7, amazing quality rooms featuring washers and dish washers, definitely best halls Northumbria have to offer

The location is a little out of the city centre and not near other accommodations. However there is a metro station a 2 minute walk away which takes you straight to the centre of Newcastle in less than 5 minutes. The location is excellent as there is a cinema, nandos, Burger King, subway and a tescos surrounding the accommodation. The accommodation is the best university accommodation I have come across. Not only does it have a double bed and a ensuite, the large kitchen includes a washer, dryer and a dishwasher. There is over a thousand students in this accommodation which means there are always people around.

Big spacious room with an en suite shower (amazing shower pressure). Close to Tescos, iceland, poundland, home bargains - which is super handy. Also very close to the metro and or a quick walk into town or the quayside.

Really good facilities and flats. Nice size and lovely people. Only downside is the distance to uni in the morning.

The location is great in terms of having good shops around you however for coach lane campus it takes me an hour to travel to everyday with having to walk to the bus. The flat itself is amazing has almost everything you need to make it feel like home. A tv would make it better,as it can be quite boring when nobody is around. The overall social experience is fab too as there alot of people to get to know.

The accommodation itself was really good and modern but due to the small window, the kitchen had a tendency to get very warm. Management wasn’t very helpful in my change of flat but the maintenance and reception staff were always welcoming.

Great facilities - lovely staff. Although very expensive for its location - considering you have to pay for a metro each day on top of your weekly rent, it becomes almost unaffordable. Although having a Nando's and Vue located on site makes it great for social activities.

With trinity square being a relatively new build it was clean and modern. The staff are all friendly and there to help in any way possible to make the experience as best as possible. The main hub in the building entrance is easily accessible and you can use it at any time of day. They also have a lot of activities on over various night in the hub. Though it is based in Gateshead, the walk into town isn’t too long and does prepare you for 2nd year if you move into a house once heaton or Jeanine at it takes a similar amount of time to get to campus.

Although the location isn’t the best for getting to uni, it’s facilities around it and the rooms you get are fantastic. With washing machines/dryers in the kitchens you save money on washing and the whole accommodation is conveniently located above a Tesco superstore, gym, cinema and costa coffee. Fantastic location and great people.
