New bridge street is great for first year students, it’s so close to everything and the staff are incredibly friendly. The rooms are clean upon arrival with a cleaner coming in throughout term time to ensure that it is contantly clean. Close to campus and everyone is so friendly. However the kitchen is slightly outdated and could use a lick of paint and some new cupboards, the electric hobs are a pain as well.

The location is great as this halls is so close to the city centre. Compared with other accommodations the rooms are also really big and the kitchens are very social if you have good flat mates. The washing is quite expensive but easy to use just next to reception where the staff are so nice.

Great location as a 2 min walk to the uni so you can literally get up 5 mins before your lecture. The WiFi is fast, great room with a double bed, however the furniture could be more modern!

Great location, really easy to meet people and people really on my level. Nice bathrooms, really nice rooms with good sized beds.

Not as nice as other accommodations considering it's one of the most expensive however perfect location, nice sized rooms, en-suites are lovely.

Great location for law and business building as it is 30 seconds away, However it is too expensive for the price as other accommodation such as trinity square is cheaper but has a gym, washing machine etc which is not included the price at new bridge. Social space downstairs is great and staff are very helpful

New bridge street had nice facilities compared to other Northumbria student flats. Kitchen and living area was modern and was in a good location a short walk to the main campus. Not as good on social aspect compared to bigger shared flats, but is good for privacy as well as nice social aspect (if you involve yourself).

The flat had been rented out over the summer and the tennants left the day before moving in, leaving cleaning staff no time at all to make sure the flat is clean. Therefore we moved into a rancid smelling flat with a blocked sink and stale water, dirty bathrooms and an overall dirty flat. I had to clean someone elses dirt off my toilet. The facilities were good and the reception staff were really nice and friendly. However I fully disagree with random flat checks especially during busy times. Maintence staff would enter our flat on their own accord doing inspections, sending emails out saying someone is going to come in at some point this week, I still think it is nescessary to knock on the door as we are paying extortionate amounts to live here we should have the right to allow and not allow people into the house, it could atleast be planned as a mutual agreement. I did not feel comfortable knowing people can enter my room at any time even when I am not there. They also had random police checks without warning with police dogs entering flats early in the morning with absolutely no warrant or reason to.

The halls are really good for positioning near the campus and for the closeness to the city centre. The flatmates I am with are great and we get on with each other. The staff within the halls are very polite and always happy to see you. The rooms are quite large and provide more than enough space for anyone.
