Great social atmosphere, had several parties at the beginning of the year with free alcohol. Often there’s free food at reception when there’s a special occasion - always free tea/coffee/hot chocolate. Packages always get picked up for you. Great common spaces too. Perhaps lacking in washing machines a little bit considering the size of the accommodation and laundry was expensive too. The room itself was on the small side with a lack of storage and a problem with damp. WiFi was amazing. Location - far from where I was based on campus but so close to town and the train station.

I love living at manor bank. The rooms are cute and well sized, and although the bathrooms are a little small, they are well structured and modern. I love my flatmates and there are usually lots of social events going on, especially near the common room. It's a bit of a walk into the uni, but not too long and it's good exercise!

The layout is very unsocialble and there is a lack of kitchen space as well as expensive compared to other halls . However the location is good for nights out and uni.

The location is good for getting to and from Newcastle but it is slightly too far for the university as it is a 20-25 minute walk. My room has damp in it and the shower does not work, despite maintenance looking into it numerous times. It’s an okay place to live but I wouldn’t recommend it for the price.
