Manchester has a great nightlife, guaranteed a great time every night of the week, as well as a range of music and clubs. University (MMU) is very helpful and supportive. The city itself has a lot to offer, nice cafes, restaurants as well as attractions. The transport is great, buses every few minutes.

Manchester is an amazing city ! Located in the north, you have brilliant countryside locations to visit even just for the day with the super convenient and affordable transport. Inner city comprises of loads of varieties of activities and choice. Meal, Drinks ? Head to spinning fields, northern quarter or Didsbury, my top three recommendations. Vibrant, elegant and food is brilliant. Night out? There’s something for everyone and every occasion. Feeling trainers ? Antwerp. Feeling fancy ? History nightclub. Hulme in Manchester is the perfect place. Student populated and you also have Hulme market: Asda, Argos, Poundland, McDonald’s, KFC etc. There’s a gym, and hair salons and shops (also suitable for Afro hair). Basically everything you need you’ll find in Hulme.

Manchester is great for nights out, shopping and more! Easy to get round the city via public transport. What I love about Manchester is that there's always something to do, so you need to worry about being bored on your days off.

Manchester has many clubs with cheap deals which is perfect for the students in the area. The arndale shopping centre is close which also has the food court in with cheap places to eat. The buses run throughout the night which is a cheap method of transport after a night out.

Fallowfield is definitely the place to be if you want to be in the most sociable area. People here love partying and drinking. Victoria park is a place for people who just want peace and quiet. City centre is usually filled with international students. University will be closest to halls here, and there are many bars/ clubs located here. However, students in city halls mostly dont like going out and drinking.

Brilliant music scene with plenty of live venues and gig opportunities for musicians, good public transport, great bars and clubs with cheap drinks and all within walking distance of each other, cheap student accommodation but good quality and the cost of living is very cheap too.

Never lacking for things to do. Excellent night life, culture, food, music. There's galleries, museums and cinemas to choose from if you want to take a break from the alcoholism too. Magic buses constantly going and only 1.50 through the day

I love the city of Manchester, there is so much going on for al walks of life and meeting people, especially like minded people from across the country and even the world, I've made friends for life and I've grown into myself and my passions and being in such an exciting city and place gives me a big sense of that!

Manchester is a large and diverse city where there is always something going on. The shopping centre has everything you might need, the night life is second to none, and there is a great independent dining scene alongside the usual chains for the foodies out there. It is large so if you think that may overwhelm you then maybe look elsewhere - but personally I love being in a huge cosmopolitan city.

Manchester is a great city with tonnes of nightlife all different and to s*** everyone. Similarly there is a vast range of places to eat from high to low price, and from western to eastern cuisine. The shopping is great as there is the Armadale and the Trafford centre which house the best shops.

The city in my opinion has everything you need and want in a city. By far my favourite city in the UK and just has everything a student would want and everything for a Student to enjoy.
