You could never be bored in Manchester. There’s truly something to do for everyone, with bars and clubs to sit everyone’s taste open all week round. The arndale and Trafford centre provide all the shops you could possibly need and the public transport is actually top class. I can’t imagine being at uni anywhere else, a truly amazing city.

Manchester is a great place to be a student, with loads of different options for nights out, weekend activities and food and drink. The city centre has nearly all UK chain restaurants and bars, but also lots of independent options too. The Northern Quarter is great for a night out, but also for chilled drinks and brunch. There are lots of activities in the city centre, like crazy golf and bowling, both of which offer food and cocktail offers. The public transport is great, the Metrolink tram pass is good value for money and allows you to visit places like West Didsbury or Heaton Park and get out of the city centre.

Great place to hit the shops a very diverse city that brings people from different culturerd and backgrounds together. It's also a place for the night light lots of clubs to go to and has recently hosted bongos bingo not to long ago and is a right laugh to go to and I deffenetly reccommed. There is soo much I could say but its easy to get to bussed every 10 to 20 minutes. As for eating out that is the only down side your lucky if your able to get a seat in any restaurant but there is always macdonalds that I don't mind

Nights out are great, cheap and full of great music. Especially G-A-Y Food is great with the arndale market and northern quarter Shopping is amazing, all the shops you need and more Loads of things to do

The city with the broadest range of nightlife. From Spinningfields to Deansgate to the northern quarter there is a bar/restaurant for every taste. For shopping you can stay central with the Arndale or venture out to the Trafford centre. For a more chilled night the printworks is perfect for a meal and the cinema.

Manchester has loads to do whether it’s food ,shopping or going on nights out! There are lots of food places so value for money isn’t an issue as there’s lots to chose to fit your requirements. As for shopping the Arndale centre has lots of shops and around Manchester also. I find northern quarter the best for nights out and cheap as most places don’t charge entry like Deansgate.

This city has everything you could possibly want, with a vibrant nightlife you can club to any genre of music. Or if that isn’t your scene, there are plenty of other things to do like bowling, mini-golf, art, the cinema or anything else you’d want to do! It truly is fantastic

I moved here in September and I still haven’t been to every place that I want to go to, basically any fun activity you can think of is available somewhere in Manchester and more likely than not they’ve added a bar to it. AMAZING resteraunts, I still have a list which I haven’t made it to the end of because the places I’ve been to already were just so good. And there’s no shortage of shops either.

Manchester has various nightclubs and bars that can suit any style, genre of music or vibe. North Quater provides cool and quirky bars and Deansgate Locks provides freshers with pop and generic nights out.

Town Central is easily accessible by almost every bus route. From Campus many buses go to town, yet town is a quick 15 min walk away. There is alot to do and many good AND well priced places to eat. Cinema tickets are only £5 each too.

Lots of things to do whether it’s day or night! Night life is really good with something for everyone- Deansgate is particularly good for students on a night out! In the day there’s plenty to do, whether that’s going to the bars and indie shops in NQ, going for food and some mini golf at Printworks or shopping at the Arndale or Trafford Centre- there really is something for everyone

There are so many great places to eat and go out - especially in the Northern Quarter there is a large selection of reasonably priced, independent restaurants and bars with real character. The nightclubs too, are varied with a good atmosphere.

There is plenty of places to eat in manchester, varying from italian - southern indian. If you're looking for quirky unique places to eat, the northern quarter boasts fantastic one off restaurants, with a rustic atmosphere; the city centre alternatively has all the chain restaurants you could ask for.
