Always a good night, sometimes a little bit to over filled so can change the mood little but other than that always fun always crazy!

Good atmosphere music and well priced drinks always enjoyed my time there, perfect for anyone into more Indie music, a nice change from other student clubs I've been to in Manchester, only issue I've ever had is a bouncer making me delete a video taken outside the venue.

Great place, never feel scared on uncomfortable because staff and bouncers are on hand and are very friendly. There's a great atmosphere and people just get along. The music is right up my street, a very enjoyable night in total!

The music choice creates a good atmosphere. The staff are helpful and friendly, and the prices aren't too steep. You can go there with friends and enjoy a good atmosphere and have a good night.

Proper good vibe. The music is generally good indie tunes - however they can get a little repetitive after a while. Drinks are cheap, especially on certain nights and the free guest list on their social media is a great idea. Great place for students if you prefer a more rock focused scene!

Indie club with a mix of songs so suits everyone's likes. Cheap drinks maybe even too cheap. Decent size club

Close to city centre and student halls, 10 min bus away at max from halls. guestlist available every night, with cheap drinks. Guaranteed a cheap and fun night with great tunes! All staff and bouncers are friendly, 100% recommend.

Great student night out - especially Tuesdays where most drinks are around £1 and it's free entry before midnight! Great music and friendly staff, my only negative is that they use a lot of disposable plastic cups on student nights (probably do avoid smashed glasses from careless drunk students) so maybe they could find a more environmentally friendly alternative then I'd give the full 5*

Good atmosphere, good value for money, mostly friendly people who go there, only criticism is most of the same music is played everytime you go so it's better to go every so often rather than every week but always have a good night when I go

Drink prices are pretty good and the environment is super cool. I would say the place is perfect for students. The music really suits my style overall. The location is fantastic, right in the city centre. The only place with good prices around the area as well.

Cool club. Plays indie, rock, pop music. Drinks are quite cheap but £5 minimum spend on card - can get you a double spirit and mixer and a shot of tequila on the side.

The immediate response from the staff if a positive when walking up the stairs you are greeted with numerous posters from legendary bands, it is a very student vibe with cheap entry and drinks. However the toilets are usually disgusting with broken locks and paper all over the floor but apart from that cracking nights there.

Great place for those who don't like traditional clubs, good music, cheapish drinks and decent atmosphere. Some of the bouncers can be D's but cheap enough

42s is a good indie student club. You can rely on it to have a good night but they play the same music all the time so don’t go too often or you’ll get bored quite quickly. Try to add yourself to the guest list to get free entry before a certain time.

42s is always a guaranteed good night! Reasonably priced drinks and a great atmosphere. The staff are lovely and the bouncers like to have a laugh. Only downside to 42s is if you go too often you know which song is coming next as I’m pretty sure they only have two playlists.

This is a really student friendly club and if you like indie music and old hits, this is the best place to be! Drinks are reasonably priced and the discount for showing your student ID at the door is an added bonus.

This place is one of the most chilled out clubs in Manchester that simply just has a really good vibe, great tunes (as long as you like indie), some good offers for students, never feels like it’s going to kick off and everyone’s rather friendly compared to most of the other clubs around.

I like when they play smash mouth, and sometimes ABBA comes on occasionally mr bright side everyone loves it it’s a great time. DJ booth is too high for requests still try sometimes.

Amazing night out, I never fail to have fun here. The que can be proper long sometimes but that's just a testament to it's popularity. The playlist is amazing Drinks are cheap as well just stay out the bogs unless your into ket and coke

Amazing night out. The music is superb and they normally do drink deals, however the bouncers are normally twats, but don't let that distract you from a great night out!

overall very good experience if you like indie music. Best to go on a Tuesday due to 1 pound entry and 1 pound entry, therefore good to students. other days it’s 5 pounds which isn’t too bad unless you are on budget. Staff are always nice, have a chat with security and don’t wait too long for drinks. Have different playlists but constant bangers

The venue is great, there are tailored student nights where drinks are dirt cheap, and even on regular days you will not break the bank. The music is more on the indie side with some classic jams thrown in. A great night all year around.

Really fun venue, edgy and indie layout - perfect for people into that kind of music. Great song selection, could maybe do some more older indie rock like you get in Venue. Overall banging night.

Great place for a good night out, always has good tunes and is really cheap which is good for students, guest list is also a big plus!
