42s tends to play the same songs every time you go in, if you get in with the size of the queue. Drinks are a decent price and the atmosphere is quite good. Wouldn't bother going unless you like indie music and the Gallagher brothers and predrinks are a must if you want to enjoy yourself as it's grim otherwise. Make sure you bring your student card to get cheaper entry at the door and try to get there well before midnight as the queue is usually humongous and it's never good to be stood out in the rain for hours on end. It's easy to get a taxi from at the end of the night and isn't far from the city centre if people need to meet you at Piccadilly.

42's is a fun club with extremely cheap drinks and a good atmosphere. The bouncers who work there are awful though, they are very rude and have often ruined many nights out.

Alright club for freshers. Someone had a poo on the stairs when I was last there. The music isn't too bad play a lot of generic indie music which can be pretty boring unless your in to it.

Same playlist every time I go. Too loud and dirty. But if you're smashed enough it's good. It is also good if it's an event and if you get there early enough so you don't have to queue.

Nice atmosphere, will just kick out anyone drunk and not help them find/ring friends which is a big dangerous, cheap drinks, central location in Deansgate

This is a great indie night with cheap drinks and good music. Tuesday student nights are always good fun and the all nighters they pull on special events also go down a treat

Good atmosphere but the same music every time. Very very cheap and the vast majority of people are students. Good location. All they need to do is switch the music up and they will get more 2nd and 3rd year people

It's a weird and wonderful experience captivating the edgy manchester experience, with cheap drinks and average looking girls you're garunteed to get your fingers wet and possibly more of you know the lyrics to wonderwall.
