Wright Robinson is a great place to be at for a student on a budget. WR has an excellent location, literally a 10 minute walk to the heart of the city centre, which has EVERYTHING you need- from groceries to clubs restaurants. Conveniently next to the accommodation are Barnes Wallis and Joule Library, which are great study spaces. There are many engineering students living here as their lecture building is 1 minute away. For other students, to get to the main south campus, there is a free 147 bus two minutes away from the accommodation, which would take 7 minute journey to campus; or it would just be a mere 15 minute walk. As for social life, you can decide how you want to spend your time, as there is a fair mix of studious and fun people. However, with the cheap rent, the hall is bound to be a bit run-down. Rooms are spacious but old. The kitchen and toilet are shared. Sometimes supplies, and heating do not work and building maintenance can be quite unresponsive. There isnt really a common room for socialising. And depending on whether you're lucky with your flatmates, sharing a kitchen and toilet with 16 people can get quite messy. Other than that, Wright Robinson is a decent place to be.
