The rooms are small and if there is a fault it takes over a week to be fixed. The location is perfect as it is right next to the uni and it does a very good job of holding events but the guest policy is very strange as you can not have someone past 6 and they have to give their id. It is good for first years but not for anyone else. The staff are very welcoming and nice. They helped me move in along with freshers angels. They kept being nice and makes you feel at ease. They help with multiple issues you may encounter and also provide support for thoses in need of it.

When I first got there I was excited for the experience of being in uni but when I got there I realised my toilet was poorly designed the room was just not functioning with vibe

Location of the accommodation is perfect, situated basically on the university campus. Staff and security always tend to be friendly and help with any issues at hand. Maintenance response is always speedy. The prices of the accommodation do jump up quite a lot each year, which can be annoying considering I ended up paying more each year for the same thing from the previous years. Rooms are a nice size, with a small but decent bathroom each. Kitchen sizes vary per flat but always have enough room.

The location is very good, it's just a couple of minutes walk to the university itself. Fitzroy court is also very clean compared to the other halls of residence. They organise these very nice and involving activities once in a while to bring people together to have fun, relax and just be calm. Talking about internet, it is not the fastest but it's fast enough. In all it is a great place to be in. Worth the money.

Student village is a rip off. They built the toilet in the way of the shower so you literally could spend a penny and shower at the same time. You would get better from private with the amount u pay per month. Plus the council apparently won’t let them raise the gates higher so nonces climb over which leads to stabbing/mugging which happened once during my stay. Be careful of your end of year contract as well. If ur planning to leave make sure your contract fully cancelled and not continue for the next academic year.Because mine apparently automatically did it and was very hard to escape. Just remembered, idiots in the car park have car meets at midnight onwards blasting out music. Like where the hell is your consideration at night. The redeeming factor would be the restraint on the windows so you could open it by a fraction, otherwise I would had jumped out

Fitzroy Court is located in the heart of Luton practically, the university is right opposite the accommodation, doctors is a 5 min walk away and the town centre and corner shops and takeaways are a 2 min walk away. Everything is very convenient. The facilities are pretty standard, there are tables in the communal areas to eat and socialise, table tennis, cinema room and a communal kitchen where events are held. Your social experience will be what you make it, the university attracts many people from london, especially east and South so the type of people could be generalised into a category. The room is a decent size, not too small and it is easy to personalize and make it a home, however the walls could be a bit thicker as living on the ground floor can sometimes be a nuisance being able to hear every word and movement in the hallways and outside, as well as hearing my roommates either side of me.

Quick access to Luton shopping center, the university is right opposite Fitzroy so it’s quick to get to lectures etc Laundry room is decent but you have to pay for your own washing despite paying expensive rent Overall nice place to stay games room is nice The gym is basic not a lot of equipment

The location of Fitzroy is amazing because it’s right in front of the uni and new libary but the downside is that you can’t have more than two visitors, you have to alert the reception staff 24 hours before your guest arrives also the staff are really horrible and racist.

The room was of good size and the ensuite option was good. however maintainence issues would take a while to be sorted and often contractors would arrive unannounced. There was trouble with rebooking for a second year. Laudrette was expensive and often machines were broken.

Very good accommodation, it is well kept, modern and fresh. The staff were extremely nice and helpful.

Upon arrival at the accommodation, there was problems with the kitchen being unready, the accommodation provides free food and treats for students occasionally although someone did get stabbed in the reception area

It is based in a quiet location , there isn't much nightlife in the surrounding area therefore the social experience remains in the halls itself where there is a gym , table tennis ,cinema room and social area including a kitchen. The bedroom are decent the showers are slightly small however over all it's nice.
