The location is in the west side of campus, so a very short walk to lectures if you do any sort of engineering ;but a longer longer (40 mon) journey to the town center. DC is a pretty small hall and slightly separated from the main block of accommodation 2 min walk away. Everyone is really chill and easy to join a party, but the Warden is pretty strict abiht quiet hours over exam periods, which is probably a good thing. The rooms are a good size; bigger than i thought they were going to be but most have shared bathroom, which I thing is fine but some might have a problem with although they clean every day.

I love it here, it's a community in itself because it's catered! It's away from the noise of other halls and has a great feeling because we don't have flats, but can ,move around freely.

For engineering the hall location couldn't be much better but in terms of distance to the union it is a bit far! I met great people at my hall but I think I'm lucky in that case. As this is the cheapest catered hall I didn't expect amazing food but the standard really was poor, I would end up eating just the carbs at every meal, we then found out we were actually just being given Elvyn's reheated food! The rooms are pretty standard, not dirty just not high quality but you can definitely make it your own and don't have any complaints about the size! The common rooms were a really good place to hang out and have predrinks but our wardens were always very strict and would try give us disciplinaries whenever we were too loud.

Really great, halls set out really well and sociably. Our kitchens don’t have ovens or grills that work though, and when our microwave broke it wasn’t ever fixed despite our complaint.
