It’s very busy city with special views for those who are passion about their career. The city is always in a rush. But it’s full of opportunities to go and explore! From public lectures to night clubs!!!

London is truly the best city in the world. It's so multicultural that you get to try food and cultures from around the world right here in the city of London! The night life is great too from great club venues and bars

Well me as a college student I eat a lot of takeaways. So I know my way around a meal my all time favourites are Italian and Chinese foods. I also love shopping in malls and in outlets. I love shoes like nike and Adidas.

London... prices are wild. People are rude and veeeery nationalist. Weather is shit. I dont wanna that the coty is terrible.. no. But after i graduate i will move because i cannot live here anymore. Sont get me wrong, visiting london from somewhere else is quite an expirience because its so different.. but living here is another issue.

Excellent range of nights out to suit all tastes. This includes larger London clubs and smaller, more local pubs and bars. Fantastic range of restaurants in the city catering to every cuisine with lots more popping up regularly. Multiple large shopping centres including Westfield Stratford and of course Oxford St, many smaller shopping districts dotted around to, everyone is easily accessible and commuting around the city is no issue at all due to the excellent transport links available

So for food there's an abundant variety. As it's such a large city there's always different things to do like the slide in Stratford one of the more unique things. Nights out activities may include shisha or nightclubs which abundant in the capital. The only negative is the value for money compared to other major cities things are a bit more expensive.

I moved to London from Brighton 3 years ago to begin my degree at UEL in Stratford East London. Outside Stratford station is westfields which has every shop you can think of restaurants, bars and the cinema! Across the road on the roof top of the car park is roofeast bar with food, music and games outside. London is buzzing 24/7 I would highly recommend this city to come and study.

Studying at Lambeth college in Clapham high street is great! There are many choices to dine out at. Different cultures, cuisines and the bars and night clubs that I enjoy on a Friday night. I would of enjoyed it more if the clubs nearby did student nights. As a matter of fact although there are many lovely restaurants, most do not take student discounts which is a bummer.

Night life is decent, food options are lovely and value for money is okay. Lots of places to visit. Transports works 24/7

London is an amazing city- it is culturally diverse with Italian, Indian, Nigerian, Philippine restaurants and many others. Its transport is unmatched anywhere in the world, with the London Underground and London Buses

Food is amazing as there are lots of restaurants of different types of food. As for shopping there are lots of shops around here like H&M, Zara, New Look, missguided, addressing different types of styles for different types of age group. Apart from that there are lots of entertainment like cinema bowling, some worldwide hits are set in the cinema to to wider community and bowling is perfect for family and friends enjoying a nice time outside. However all these might be expensive especially for students as they only do part time jobs amongst their studies.

Grown up here so I may be a little disenfranchised with it but London is still a beautiful and vibrant place which literally never sleeps which is why I suffer when I temporarily stay in other cities/towns (excluding Brum and Manchester, don't care I love Brum!)

Great variety of restaurants and shops, lots of things to do and lots of opportunities. Transport is everywhere but can be long and costly, also food is mostly expensive

Nights out are good but central is expensive especially to dine in. Transport for London is bad during rush hour and usually have DELAYs

The partical city in London gives nice food and around my university is nice and wonderful restaurants which I would rather recommend to students that would want to go their on a day to day basis so giving a chance of discounts and offers to students in central London will be helpful.

London is one of the best cities to be a university student in, if you enjoy having a lot of different options for events and don't mind that you probably will not make many close friends. Every morning you leave the house, the city takes you into it. With everyone around you going to places, being active, it is difficult not to feel a sense of 'being in the struggle of life' together (especially judging by everyone's faces on the tube between 8-10 am). It is a great university city if you enjoy living in a place where you are essentially anonymous, not having to worry about meeting people you know on the street. Another thing you never worry about is where you can eat. Albeit pricy, London always has restaurants and delivery services to get your food at any time of day. It is not as difficult to get by on a low budget as some people may think. Most supermarkets reduce the price on their ready-meals when it is the last day of the 'best before', which means you can sort a dinner for 1.5-3 pounds without having to cook. Another amazing thing for a late-night study session in the library, is that itsu and wasabi do 1/2 price food an hour after closing. Transportation is expensive, but if you get a student Oyster you get some discounts. The positive thing about transport is you can get almost anywhere anytime in central London in a short amount of time. But there are also drawbacks. London can get very lonely, especially if you are not an outgoing person. It is not the typical uni experience where you meet and live together with friends from the same uni on the same campus and develop tight bonds because of seeing each other often. Making friends in London is very difficult, especially if you don't spend your 1st year living in uni accommodation. I would say it is more difficult for people from smaller countries, because a lot of the times on campus you will see people aggregating in groups based on social identity or language. Another major drawback is the price for everything. If you are not one of those rich white kids living out their best lives on daddy's surplus millions, money will become an issue. The rent is huge, but another killer is the price for club and event entry. Most event/club prices start out at a minimum of 8 pounds (sometimes 5, but then you need to be very early with buying your tickets), by the time you finally reach the club after 30 mins of standing in line, you are sober and have to buy drinks inside, which will completely bankrupt you. This is also why you will often find yourself in the dilemma of whether to go for a night out or whether to go to an interesting talk/other event, because you will not have money for doing both.

Transportation is good to an extent because you can be fully mobile without a car but maaaateeeee THE PRICES WILL HURT YOUR WALLET FR FR. brace yourself. . London is pretty. Museums and art galleries are free (mostly). Enjoy them . Food is great. Find good food for less so you can stress less . Shopping is great, loads of stores do student discounts as well, which is great . Value for money - once you step outta your house you're losing cash. no cap. be ready for it . Because living in London is soooo expensive, when you're applying for jobs make sure you're getting PAIIIIDDD b/c tax rates are high, cost of living is high, transport cost is high, so you gotta think ahead. . Accommodation: lol on a level it's expensive as is the city's way. share with friends you can stand if you can, living at home is even better if you can stand living with your fam .‚

London is a great city to live in. There is always something to do and a wide variety of food choices.

Great nightlife, always something to do and always new places to discover. There are a lot of things in place for students such as student events and discounts. It's slightly more expensive than other cities but you're getting an experience you won't be able to gain anywhere else.

London is great! There is always something new to do is this fast paced city!! However, it's not for everyone; if you like quietness and countryside, this is not your place. If you are a city person instead, London is the best city to live in. Restaurants? Cichetti in Picadilly is the best Italian and Jinjuu in Soho the tastiest Korean! For a cocktail go to Sketch in Mayfair and in sunny days choose Aqua rooftop in Regents st! Transport works great but it is expensive! The best deal is paying monthly and if you are a student don't forget to register in TFL to get a 30% of disccount. Oxford st is the most crowded st for shopping, so if you wanna take a break from seeing all those people, just go to King's Rd in Chelsea or Westfield shopping centre in White City. If you are very into fashion and high end brands, Selfridges, Dover st market, harrods, harvey nichols and New Bond st will make you feel like you are on your element!
