The Londer life suits many students, but it’s harder for those of us living on a budget. I feel prematurely pushed into the hideous commuter life, my halls are a good 45 minutes away from campus. Because of space issues you also just get what you are given for first year accomodation, with no option to prioritise based on things such a cost and proximity to campus. It’s a lottery.

To be perfectly honest the city has to be one of the most dangerous places ever you can’t go anywhere without looking over your back

Shopping, restaurants and cafes are always stylish, well lit and comfy. There are plenty of museums, art exhibitions and galleries to visit, great for students on any creative course. Nights out are always fun whether you go to a club, bar or pub. Pints of beer and other drinks are usually not too expensive.

The university location is amazing but the surrounding area is very expensive being in central London

My uni Has a very big campus where everything is close. The supermarket inside the campus is a little bit expensive, but we have a Lidl jus by five minutes walking. The uni is connected to Central London by two underground lines, picadilly and metropolitan.

It is very convenient location, 2 minutes from the local tube station. There isn't many things to do,however the University offers good library facilities.

Greatest city on earth. A country boy who is now living in what is historically the central melting pot of the world. No other city has as rich a history; there isn't anywhere else with such beauty and excitement. London is the place I want to live and work.

Surrey Quays Shopping Centre is the best out there! Has a blend of expensive and affordable shops. With good transport links it’s an easy place to acces and also with free parking!

Nights out are relatively expensive compared to up north, however you won't stop partying from Monday till Sunday. With a variety of clubs open you'll be entertained each night of the week. As for food, oh boy you're in for a treat!

Many choices of things to do. It is London after all. Problem is that most things are expensive. Haven’t had much time/money to go shopping but there’s plenty out there. Nights out are a mixed bag but there’s so much choice, there’ll always be something that suits everyone.

Nothing particularly close to uni for a night out so have to go out into soho or shoreditch, getting an uber back can be expensive and the area isn’t particularly safe so walking isn’t really a good option, but the variety of nights out and places to go is definitely worth it

In London You can get anywhere at anytime! And there is always something to do, the downside is that it isn’t a cheap city

Nights out are ok on London but the only problem is, is the value for money the best night clubs in London can be found in soho but all pay on the door

My uni is situated in borough and is surrounded by great places for a night out. It is also surrounded by beautiful London scenary, the shard, south bank and borough market are right on your doorway. It is also a short walk from student housing which are very good value for money, especially for London

Lots of bars a short walk from uni. Small Tesco next door to uni. Big bullring shopping centre nearby with every shop you could possibly need.

The location of my Uni is brilliant as it is close to everything; near central london, next to a high street and genuinely a nice area.

Beautiful city, always something going on! Can be a little expensive at times but as long as you plan, you can enjoy London on a budget.

Many places to eat in London. Various shops in westfields Stratford and White city as well as oxford street. Poor value for money compared to the rest of the country.
