Definitely the best located hall at Imperial for nightlife, exploring London etc. The morning commute is a drag and very hectic but the price reduction in the accommodation is worth if especially when you consider the normal rental prices for the area. The rooms are generally in a good condition and the daily kitchen cleaning on weekdays is a complete godsend but faulty fridges, ovens etc. are fairly common. Most of the wardening team are nice but the head warden is so unreasonably strict that socialising in large groups is difficult, especially since all the main social areas are in the basement. Only being able to connect two devices to the internet at a time is inconvenient.

Xenia is an awesome place to stay! I spent my first year living at Xenia and it was great. It's based in Waterloo a stone's throw from the South Bank, so you really feel close to the heart of London. Walking across embankment pier every night on the way home from uni really set the scene, and arriving home to the great community at Xenia was an added bonus. The seniors are great and the staff from Chapter are really helpful. The common rooms are a great place to chill and watch TV with flatmates, and there are often socials run by the halls. Overal, highly recommended!

The location is amazing for everything apart from actually going in to uni. It is next to the London Eye which is handy to know on night outs. The hall building itself isn't that pretty but is very practical. My room was long and tiny, though it was an en-suite. We had regular social events like pub crawls and movie nights which was always enjoyable

Goods halls with decent facilities in a great part of central London - there's plenty of stuff around it, lots of shops and restaurants and good transport links from Waterloo. Pretty far from campus though

AMAZING location - right on the southbank, right outside waterloo station. A bit annoying having to commute veryday to uni and back, but i think it's definitely worth it. We're near all the best nightlife too - walking distance from Ministry of Sound, Heaven, Leicester Sqaure etc. The rooms are decent size and are cleaned weekly which is great, and same goes for the kitchens. All the staff are super friendly and helpful too. Only downside I would say is the lack of social areas on upper floors, but this is not too much of a problem as the kitchens and study rooms become commons rooms essentially!

It is half an hour from the uni which can be a pain. However, it makes everyone much closer as everyone travels together. It creates a great friendship group. Rooms are quite big for London and modern. Kitchens are variable , some large some small. Only problem is mice problem and also, reception can be a bit rude. Location is right on south bank which is amazing socially.

I loved it! The location was amazing, I could see the shard from my room and walk to central London in about 20 minutes. Waterloo station allowed east connection to lots of places both in and outside of London. My room was quite small, the bathroom very small, but a good kitchen and and social spaces downstairs meant lots of time could be spent outside of it.
