Lots of places offer great deals on student nights out and there is a wide variety of places to go to suit all tastes. There is also such a wide variety of food places to choose from that it's hard to pick where to eat. Also, with deliveroo and uber eats you don't even need to leave the house to get fed. Liverpool is also great value for money advice a student as there are so many deals everywhere you go.

Good city for uni life, the city centre has much to offer, great clubs for all tastes, beautiful library and many opportunities for students. People are welcoming and I generally feel safe

The uni campus is really nice and it's just up Brownlow Hill which is a straight road directly into town. The city centre is SO nice, I was so surprised when I came for an open day. So many shops and chains of restaurants and then on bold street there little independent places to eat and cool 2nd hand shops. Lark lane is a hidden gem where you can go for drinks and food and you can even incorporate a walk through Sefton park.

Liverpool is a fantastic city to live in with lots to see and do. Particular highlights include the food options (Bold Street) and the nightlife. The student experience is incredible with multiple universities populating the area. There's hidden street art and unmissable independent stores for clothes, records and more. LiverpoolOne is a staple for those reliable retailers you know and love. It is well linked to nearby locations via Merseyrail services.

Liverpool city centre has everything you could possibly desire, whether it be a night out, a slap up meal, shops galore, a huge cinema complex, museums, art galleries, or even a sail down the river Mersey !! The people of Liverpool are warm, friendly and welcoming. The city has even been given the title 'City of Culture' which is evident in the huge selection of cuisines available. Liverpool is home to one of the biggest selling recording artists of all time, 'The Beatles'. However, the talent doesn't end there, you can walk around the streets of Liverpool on any given day and be entertained by talented street musicians !!

Liverpool is a great city, filled with friendly people and always has something to offer everyone. The city is full of culture, having several museums which all offer a great education and insight to what the city wasn't built upon and the rich history which comes with Liverpool.

Liverpool, is a vibrant urban city who's popularity has greatly increased after winning capital of culture in 2008. Liverpool has two football teams and the Liverpool echo arena which hosts events all year round including music events which are always brilliant to attend. Liverpool has many theatres where you can see classic West end musicals including wicked. The nightlife in Liverpool is unlike anywhere else, wether you on matthew street or down the Baltic market you'll find something you'd love. No matter where you are going in Liverpool there is great transportation links, we have a great bus service and train service and amazing taxis who's drivers try to make everyone's experience a good one!

A great city with a vibrant night life and a lot to see and explore. Liverpool One has a great range of shops and the surrounding areas have lots of places to eat from restaurant chains to independent restaurants. Plenty of great experiences to have at the Albert Dock and in the city centre (including ghetto golf and escape rooms) to keep you entertained.

Liverpool is a fantastic location for any student. The night life is superb and while Liverpool is a small, compact city, there's no shortage of pubs and clubs to head to. The cost of living is extremely cheap as well, especially compared to down south.

Liverpool is a fantastic city- the people are so welcoming, night outs are fairly compact (no long walks between bars in high heels), and plenty of amazing restaurants and bars. With chains like Wetherspoons to various independent restaurants on bold street- there’s food for everyone at all prices! Drinks and meals (depending on where you go) are reasonably priced, as is transport (mainly buses). Uber is reliable there also, if buses are not your thing. Liverpool One provides all shops you may need in a clean and huge outdoor shopping centre. Honestly would recommend this city with all my heart- amazing place!

Beer can be very cheap, lots of great places to go if you're a student. Concert square, especially Wetherspoons is brilliant. Great atmosphere at Eintsein. Heebies is amazing on a Wednesday with live music. Overall great! Has the usual roughness of a major city but nowhere near what I was expecting!

Brilliant value for money with free clubs that are better than the paid ones, plenty of shops and restaurants only a 10 min walk from the uni campus with your basic food shops on the campus anyway. There is loads of things to do from museums to zoos nearby and a brilliant public transport system

The city has nearly every shop and restaurant you could think of, all within walking distance of each other. They have great offers for students and Liverpool one have fairly regular student events where there are huge discounts across almost all of the shops and many of the restaurants, great value! In terms of nightlife, I’ve been out in many other northern cities and think that Liverpool has the most choice of places to go! Concert square and the surrounding area offer so many bars, pubs and clubs, almost all of which are free to get into! Drinks are generally cheap, especially through the week, and there are plenty of good takeaways around for afterwards! Aside from nightlife and shopping, Liverpool is a popular tourist destination with lots to see including all of the museums, art galleries and Albert Dock where more restaurants and bars can be found. It’s a great place for the family to visit for a day out.

Liverpool has everything to offer; night life, food, activities, adventures. It's one of the best places to visit.

Wide range of nightclubs and bars (all in the same area) so makes it easy to go from place to place. Lots of chain restaurants as well as independent ones like on Bold Street/ Lark Lane (would highly recommend). Lots of other activities to do when you’re bored like ghetto golf or escape rooms. Shopping is also 10/10 has every shop you can think of in Liverpool One.

Liverpool is a great place to be, it's got great shopping, restaurants and night life at great prices because of the large student population. With the train station bring you to all major cities and a great airport you'll be able to do all your travelling from the city with no problem!

Amazing city with a fantastic nightlife. Super good Vale for money and the cute little boutique stores. The people are so lovely and friendly it makes it much easier being away from home and family. Absolutely love it here no place I would rather be

Liverpool is an interesting and exciting city. There is something for everyone, particularly in regards to the nightlife. Bold street is a huge favourite for eating-out, lots of independent restaurants offering cuisines from all around the world. The 24 hour bus services are excellent and tickets are also really affordable as they offer students rates! Liverpool is a fun but still affordable city to enjoy a university experience.

The Liverpool night life is amazing, as somebody who lives in the city anyway and still enjoys it as much now as I did my first night out is saying something. There are hundreds of shops to visit with everything you need. It can be expensive in some places but they are worth it when in a better setting.
