Best city in the world. Friendly people, good atmosphere, good nightlife. Best accents and fashion sense

The city is full of great spots for food, nightlife and shopping. However it doesn't feel overly safe all the time due to crime level

Liverpool is a great city for students. With four universities you can find so much to do as a student. The nights out are famous, yet there is more cultural and other kinds of entertainment on offer. Decent transport links including 24 hour buses, and easy links to other cities and various parts of the country. The city as a whole is very attractive with an interesting history and a friendly population.

I chose to stay in Liverpool for uni and I genuinely don't think I'm missing out on anything like everybody told me I would. There's so much to do: restaurants,shops,cinemas- whatever you want. It's a great place for students (it's quite cheap) and the nightlife is good so you can easily experience the social side too.

Nights out in Liverpool are among the best nights out I've been on. There are so many options of places to go, quiet pubs for a more chill night out, like 4 wetherspoons, concert square, kareoke bars etc really has everything you need for a night out. Plenty of shops in the city centre for all your shopping needs and the newer L1 is amazing. Plenty of museums if youre looking for things to do, nice places to walk and lots of activities like escape rooms.

The nightlife is honestly amazing, there's nothing I could fault. It's so cheap and there always something to do, there's events every week and the venues are some of the best I've ever been to. The shops are also so great, there is so much choice! Liverpool is a wonderful city and has many beautiful places such as the docks.

A night out in Liverpool covers everything from smaller quieter bars to big entertaining night clubs to suite everyone. Shopping in Liverpool 1 is easy as all of your favourite shops are close to one another and the city centre is very clean and safe. There are plenary of things to do in Liverpool including numerous interesting museums and the docks, there Is also an odeon and some crazy golf places like ghetto golf. Some of the restaurants can be a little pricey on the docks but there are plenty of places to eat on a budget including Nando's Pizza Hut McDonalds and pizza express and there is a great variety of food places from Wagamamas and yo sushi to give guys so there is something for everyone.

Liverpool is an amazing city for nightlife, restaurants and shopping. it's completely suitable for all types of people; families, students and tourists. However, i would say the above average level of crime is a downfall but taking precautions on a night out is easily done due to lovely cab drivers and the close proximity in the town centre. overall an amazing and lively city to live in.

Liverpool is an amazing city to live in and be a student in. In the City Center alone you can find everything you need from shops to restruants to bars, and being a fairly cheap city to live in, student life can be amazing! Liverpool has some of the most friendliest people I have ever come across and it can really become a home away from home for anyone moving here. There is an amazing choice of universities here so there will always be a course for you!

Fantastic nightlife for all ages, so many different types of cuisine, lots of free museums to see, people are very friendly and transport is easy to use.

Nightlife is really good in Liverpool- concert square can be quite busy/ tacky at times with a lot of stag do's but this is redeemed by the gritty but brilliant dock areas; baltic triangle and invisble wind factory/meraki offering a massive variety of popular and lesser-known DJs and performers. Bold Street and Lark Lane are personal favourites for shopping and food- so many independent vendors and also chains meaning that you can broaden and develop your tastes but there is always Taco Bell if you want some cheap comfort food. Overall Liverpool is quite a reasonably priced city with lots to do.

Visited the city during a Liverpool match in August with a few mates (aged 19-20). Very friendly taxi drivers to and from Anfield. Plenty of bars and restaurants around the city centre for entertainment after the match. Wetherspoons for cheap drinks near our hotel but the bars are not overly expensive anyways, and they have music in them unlike spoons. The city is lacking in a quality nightclub. We weren't impressed with the one we went to. It was very generic and overpriced. Takeaways Close proximity of Lime Street to the rest of the city, easy to get around the city. Definitely worth a weekend visit.

Liverpool is one of my favourite cities, it's cheap for a big city and has such a good atmosphere. Nights out are good, concert square is a place to go and a place called Cava, where you can buy £1 tequila shots all day every day. You must visit the docks, it's beautiful at night and during the day, with lots of museums and exhibits around there, Liverpool one is the number shopping place with loads of shops.

Liverpool is a great place for students as there is a wide variety of bars and clubs that do student friendly prices, making it a very affordable place to live. The shopping centre is full of affordable and fashionable shops, as well as many restaurants and take outs, making it a great place to go for a day out with friends.

Liverpool is a fun city to go for university, the nightlife is so much and it's so cheap, so is the rent and taxis, however it is not diverse and there are no employment opportunities either during or after your studies.

Absolutely love liverpool great all rounder city, club night for every day of the week as well as thousands of shops restaurants and museums - what more could you want. Never a dull moment in Liverpool!

Liverpool is an amazing place to live. You have the city, countryside and beach all within less than 30 minutes drive, not forgetting that manchester is only 40 minutes away (on a good traffic day). Liverpool one shopping centre is amazing, with chavasse park and albert docks a lovely place to go on a summers day and a winters evening. The people of liverpool are very friendly and helpful. The night life, especially around concert square is absolutely buzzing and there is something different on every day of the week. A city with everything you possibly need to have a fantastic time at uni!

I come from Liverpool myself and can honestly say it's a place that will always be in my heart the nightlife is great and there are many restaurants which I'd visit over and over again. The shopping centre is very accessible with public transport and a lot of car parks with the met quarter and Liverpool one there is plenty of shopping to do! the docks attract a lot.... I mean a LOT of tourists to Liverpool and can guarantee a great view.

Liverpool is a great city for student life. I enjoy the university as it is so close to the city. This makes it so much easier for the nightlife as it is a short taxi or bus journey back. One of my favourite nights out is heebies on a Thursday. This club has 3 different floors including r&b, dance and an indie floor which makes it ideal if you can't decide what genre of music you would enjoy on that's particular night. Liverpool itself is very aesthetically pleasing with like street, the museums and Liverpool one shopping centre that has good shops in

Liverpool is a bussling city with many things to see and do. The docks are a must for a quiet walk. And an unmissable experience is the view from the radio city tower!
