Although it’s realllllly cold, the tourism side of Liverpool is really awesome!! I went to the museum a few weeks ago and the size of it is unreal!! It’s a really nice day out.... the nightlife is really good too! Everyone is very lovely and it’s a really fun and safe area to be around

Every server is nice in every shop or restaurant, I've personally experienced. There are plenty of places to eat and if you look hard enough can find really cheap student places for great food

Liverpool is an amazing city and incredibly friendly. The docks give it a completely different feel to other cities without a coast. Also it is home to Liverpool football club.

The location of Hope University is amazing, you have an equal balance of both rural living, surrounded by parks and so close to Snowdonia and the Lake District, whilst also having the experiance of living so close to a city. The city has a variety of events throughout the year such as firework night, Chinese New Year, and the Christmas Market, involving amazing oppprtunities to see performances at the theatres and endless amount of shops. There is always somewhere new to eat each night, and a variety of take aways to cure your student hunger! Nights out are amazing, with most clubs and bars in the same location, you can easily go to several placea within a night out! Surprisingly, living in a city is so much cheaper than i thought, with transport and taxi's being so cheap, and the price of alcohol and food being less expensive that my home town! I would happily recommend Liverpool as a student home!

Uni of Liverpool is in the perfect location! It’s close enough to town to walk but not so close that it’s chaotic. The on campus accommodation is also amazing for a lie in, couldn’t ask for a better location.

Location is your common city, transportation either very busy or never arrive on time if at all, good luck getting into a good restaurant too as they'll be packed a majority of the time, Lived here for 23 years, and wish sometimes to move away

Liverpool is a great city that’s quite small but also has a lot to do, during the day you could go to the high streets and shop, visit museums and the docks, and at night there are many great bars and clubs to go too for all different tastes.

Liverpool is an overall great city it provides shopping, leisure activities, eating out and a great night life for all tastes. There are museums cinemas and mini golf and much more in terms of leisure activities. The Liverpool One offers all major shops and brands. The nightlife is buzzing with venues at concert square, Matthews street and in the Baltic triangle and there is something for everyone with each club in the concert square putting on an event each weekday.

Small friendly city, very welcoming locals. Cheap decent halls and student housing close to town. Great uni campus' close to the city centre, with loads of local bars and independent businesses in their doorstep. Good city for clubbing, most are within a few roads of each other. Really cheap and cheerful.

Been in Liverpool for the years now and I don't think I could have chosen to go to university in a better city. The University is located in the outskirts of the city centre making everything easily accessible.

Liverpool as a whole is a different world, no where in the north will you find bolder, friendlier and more dynamic people. No matter where you go in the city.

Great location for a student. The city centre has everything a student needs. Plenty of shops in Liverpool One and lots of restaurants with a variety of food. Everything is within walking distance of each other so very handy.

Really love liverpool, there's always a food/drink shop nearby - some great coffee shops to choose from. Plenty of good pubs and bars - definitely recommend the drinks at the Font. I only wish they'd lower the prices a bit for students at the small shops though (eg Tesco) as the grocery shops nearby to the universities in liverpool can be quite pricey. Love going to town, Liverpool ONE has everything to offer.
