Liverpool is one of the best cities to go to university within the UK! Nightlife there is amazing! Nothing can beat it! It is known for nightlife.

It is so easy to get to, I drive my car into the town centre and park at the train station then walk to the campus from there. Easy.

Liverpool is a lovely city with some great views. The city's not as big as others which means everything within walking distance from local unis or just a quick busride away. The buses are all very easy to navigate and mostly take you straight into the city center. And of course, the nightlife is booming with action and life everyday of the week!

Fantastic city. Big enough so that there is always something going on to suit everyone, however is not overwhelming when initially trying to find your way around. The universities are close to shops, clubs, bars and resteraunts, libraries and much more. Lots of easy transport.

Liverpool is fantasic city with so much to see and do within a compact area. The nightlife districts are always buzzing, and many of the bars and clubs are free entry so you can try a few out in a night. The shopping is great and varied, with Liverpool One having all your high street shops, and the nearby Met-Quater having higher end shops. Bold Street is the place to go to eat - the focus here is non-chain restaurants, with each restaurant tending to be a different world cuisine. There are even some obscure choices like a Peruvian restaurant! The waterfront itself is beautiful, especially on a busy day. There us plenty to do, such as visit the free Museum of Liverpool or Maritime Museum. Then there is also Matthew Street, home of the Cavern Club, for fans of The Beatles. Liverpool is an incredible city with plenty to do for everyone. No-wonder TripAdvisor has named it as the 2nd best city to visit in England (after London).

Liverpool is literally the best city for a student to live in. With brand new scran gaffs and shops oppening all the time and loads of events and activities to go out and do. Yet with all of them being reasonably priced.

Liverpool is a small but plentiful city. The best thing about Liverpool is the vast amount of clubs and shops. Everything can be found in Liverpool and the nightlife is one of the best in the UK. I am yet to have not found something I required in the city. Being 45 minutes from Manchester if Liverpool doesn’t fulfil you then entertainment can be found elsewhere just as easily.

Night out here is lit! Something on every night, but Sundays are a bit quiet. Lots of cool quirky places for food that are reasonably priced as well

Liverpool is a wonderful city. It’s full of culture and is obviously known for producing artists such as ‘Cilla’ and ‘The Beatles’. There’s a huge range of shops and restaurants and loads of options for vegans, especially on Bold St. It’s a great place for students! There’s a range of activities including a museum with free entry and ‘The Empire Theatre.’ I’d recommend Liverpool to everyone!

Great nights out, somewhere for every taste in music. Some of the greatest people! Food options for whatever you’re feeling, especially a great Chinese. Compare to the countries capital, the prices of rent are affordable

There's no place like home, and any visitor will certainly find a new home in Liverpool. Famous around the world for its football rivalries, maritime history, musical influences and the best (read: most common sounding) accent in the UK. Whether you fancy a day shopping, eating fantastic international cuisine or exploring a rich and diverse heritage then Liverpool is the place to be. Us scousers welcome all visitors (unless you support Man U or City) and you'll soon realise we are the friendliest people!
