Liverpool is a fantastic location for any student. The night life is superb and while Liverpool is a small, compact city, there's no shortage of pubs and clubs to head to. The cost of living is extremely cheap as well, especially compared to down south.

Liverpool is a fantastic city- the people are so welcoming, night outs are fairly compact (no long walks between bars in high heels), and plenty of amazing restaurants and bars. With chains like Wetherspoons to various independent restaurants on bold street- there’s food for everyone at all prices! Drinks and meals (depending on where you go) are reasonably priced, as is transport (mainly buses). Uber is reliable there also, if buses are not your thing. Liverpool One provides all shops you may need in a clean and huge outdoor shopping centre. Honestly would recommend this city with all my heart- amazing place!

Imperial College London. A great institution established yo improve research. The Victoria and Albert Museum, Science Museum, Natural History Museum, Geological Museum, Royal College of Science , Royal College of Art , Royal School of Mines , Royal College of Music , Royal College of Organists, Royal School of Needlework , Royal Geographical Society, Institute of Recorded Sound , Royal Horticultural Gardens , Royal Albert Hall and the Imperial Institute are not to be left out of the great buildings it have. Several royal colleges and the Imperial Institute merged to form what is now Imperial College London.

Brilliant value for money with free clubs that are better than the paid ones, plenty of shops and restaurants only a 10 min walk from the uni campus with your basic food shops on the campus anyway. There is loads of things to do from museums to zoos nearby and a brilliant public transport system

The city has nearly every shop and restaurant you could think of, all within walking distance of each other. They have great offers for students and Liverpool one have fairly regular student events where there are huge discounts across almost all of the shops and many of the restaurants, great value! In terms of nightlife, I’ve been out in many other northern cities and think that Liverpool has the most choice of places to go! Concert square and the surrounding area offer so many bars, pubs and clubs, almost all of which are free to get into! Drinks are generally cheap, especially through the week, and there are plenty of good takeaways around for afterwards! Aside from nightlife and shopping, Liverpool is a popular tourist destination with lots to see including all of the museums, art galleries and Albert Dock where more restaurants and bars can be found. It’s a great place for the family to visit for a day out.

Best student night life and affordable accomodation! Especially at the Liverpool town centre! Definitely recommend checking out Bond Street.

Liverpool has everything to offer; night life, food, activities, adventures. It's one of the best places to visit.

Wide range of nightclubs and bars (all in the same area) so makes it easy to go from place to place. Lots of chain restaurants as well as independent ones like on Bold Street/ Lark Lane (would highly recommend). Lots of other activities to do when you’re bored like ghetto golf or escape rooms. Shopping is also 10/10 has every shop you can think of in Liverpool One.

Liverpool is a great place to be, it's got great shopping, restaurants and night life at great prices because of the large student population. With the train station bring you to all major cities and a great airport you'll be able to do all your travelling from the city with no problem!

Amazing city with a fantastic nightlife. Super good Vale for money and the cute little boutique stores. The people are so lovely and friendly it makes it much easier being away from home and family. Absolutely love it here no place I would rather be

Liverpool is an interesting and exciting city. There is something for everyone, particularly in regards to the nightlife. Bold street is a huge favourite for eating-out, lots of independent restaurants offering cuisines from all around the world. The 24 hour bus services are excellent and tickets are also really affordable as they offer students rates! Liverpool is a fun but still affordable city to enjoy a university experience.

The Liverpool night life is amazing, as somebody who lives in the city anyway and still enjoys it as much now as I did my first night out is saying something. There are hundreds of shops to visit with everything you need. It can be expensive in some places but they are worth it when in a better setting.

Great city great people, the longer you’re here the better it gets. Go out and talk to the locals, work in a bar, the more you become involved in the city the more fun you’ll have! Also make sure you get out of the student areas the city is so much better than concert square and Barbaa, find places like camp and furnace, 24 kitchen street and constellations

Probably one of the most ideal places for students to stay and study!! Not only are it’s universities well respected but LJMU and Uni of Liverpool are perfectly placed right in the heart of the city centre with accommodation expanding at an ever growing rate!! Nightlife here is amazing, there is literally a club or bar for every person, every type of music etc. There are plenty of friendly people here too! Super helpful and always ready to chat you really can’t fault the people of liverpool, they really are the best!! Everything you need and more:)

I chose Liverpool for my city of further education because I had visited the city before and it was a lively, busy area which wasnt too big. Making it an ideal place for a student. It has all the essentials and more, with great shopping, clubs, even an upcoming area for the edgey crowd. There is always something new to do.

Amazing independent restaurants. Good rave scene. Lots of student offers. Liverpool one is a big shopping centre with lots of chains but bold street has the best charity shops and food places. Accommodation is cheap.

I absolutely love Liverpool- having never been here before uni, I now want to live here once I finish. The night life is incredible, a place for absolutely every taste and places open every night. The events are always fun and different and exciting, I always look forward to the events in town. There is great shopping here- Bold Street especially I love! And there are so many food places here- I've been here two years and still have so many places to go to! Overall, I love Liverpool!

Really unique city that is perfect for student living. It's relatively cheap (good student accomodation can be found for as little as £75 pw depending on how far out you're willing to live). As a result it is quite easy to live in the city centre where there are a range of activities you can do, such as yoga, salsa, sightseeing and cultural activities (Liverpool is known as the capital of culture and has many good museums) or even drinking. It has a good nightlife for all ages and the locals are very friendly and are well known for their love of going out. Seel street is a road filled with bars and clubs (many of which are free to get into and offer free shots). For foodies there are also lots of good and reasonably priced restaurants, cafes and bars to try.
