The food and culture in Liverpool is so varied and beautiful. There are plenty of restaurants with lots of international cuisines to suit all tastes and many are value for money. For example, there are Nando’s restaurants and Chinese buffets to eat at

I moved to liverpool from Manchester thinking I would miss my home. I was wrong. Liverpool has so much to offer including live music in places such as sound on Duke st to 24 kitchen st, amazing food in from Ropewalks to the Baltic triangle, and plenty of centres for activities such as the climbing hanger. In this city I feel at home and the people of liverpool make me feel at home with their warm welcoming attitude toward visitors. I found using the bus service is much cheaper than it is in Manchester. There is a much larger variety in eating establishments for vegans. A night out in liverpool is great, theres plenty of choice if concert square isn't your scene, with bars hosting live music nights and clubs with house playing all nights of the week, you cannot get bored.

As a student moving a long way from home, Liverpool is the perfect city to grow up in. Although it may be a lot smaller than Manchester or London, it’s definately full of culture and creativity. Best nights out I’ve ever been on, always something to do in the city. Will definately be moving here when I’m older

Liverpool is an amazing city that I have fallen in love with in the 2 years that I have now been living in it. The atmosphere of the city, stores, restaurants and clubs are great and everything that a student could ask for. The city is small but that adds to its charm, there is so many interesting places and so much to do that everyone will find something for themselves. Most importantly of all the people are also amazing!

A great place for a night out with a friendly culture. A variety for shops for a variety of budgets, lots of restaurants and plenty of things to do; muesums, interactive tours and sightseeing. A good day out or weekend trip! I would definitely recommend!

We came here midweek for one of their free nights, and couldn't believe how good it was. A great night in a great venue. Drinks were not overpriced (which was refreshing for a comedy club venue) and the chairs were much comfier than other venues I've been to (and with much more leg room) The acts were also hilarious with one of them actually having me in tears pretty much the whole way through. And a great host for the night. I will definitely be back

Liverpool is a very exciting place to live, especially for students. The compact city centre which is full of bars, restaurants and nightclubs makes it the perfect setting to live as a young adult. The vast amount of attractions and activities at your disposal makes your stay here as enjoyable as it possibly could be. Furthermore, it’s home to two big premier league football clubs which are just a stones throw away. Overall, I couldn’t fathom anyone wanting to live anywhere else other than Liverpool!

Big city full of so many different shops, clubs, food and people! Then food choices are endless as well as the shop range. Best time is around Christmas with the lights and sales! Although going for entertainment throughout the summer is necessary😁

Liverpool is a vibrant city with plenty of life and activities to do. Everyone is very friendly and sociable. there are nights out to suit everyone including many summer festivals such as sefton food festival and many other cultural festivals. Liverpool One is a new clean outdoor shopping complex offering varied restaurants and cinemas. Bold street, mathew street and the Albert docks are all easy reach.

Moving to Liverpool had to be one of the best choices I’ve made. As a student it has so much to offer including events and night outs with low priced taxi company’s across the city to get you there! I am a student who has to travel to placement requiring regular bus and train use to a variety of places and Liverpool has that! There’s are SO MANY places to eat out, different types of food and prices depending on your budget. One of the only downfalls of Liverpool would be the shopping, other city’s seem to have more to offer in this department, however don’t get me wrong, I do enjoy shopping here for a day out, the city centre is lovely! My overall raiting of Liverpool would be 5 stars despite the lack of shops. It is worth a visit and 1000% the best city to go to university.

I chose to stay in Liverpool for uni and I genuinely don't think I'm missing out on anything like everybody told me I would. There's so much to do: restaurants,shops,cinemas- whatever you want. It's a great place for students (it's quite cheap) and the nightlife is good so you can easily experience the social side too.

Nights out in Liverpool are among the best nights out I've been on. There are so many options of places to go, quiet pubs for a more chill night out, like 4 wetherspoons, concert square, kareoke bars etc really has everything you need for a night out. Plenty of shops in the city centre for all your shopping needs and the newer L1 is amazing. Plenty of museums if youre looking for things to do, nice places to walk and lots of activities like escape rooms.

The nightlife is honestly amazing, there's nothing I could fault. It's so cheap and there always something to do, there's events every week and the venues are some of the best I've ever been to. The shops are also so great, there is so much choice! Liverpool is a wonderful city and has many beautiful places such as the docks.
