There is no better night out than in Liverpool, and anyone who’s been here will tell you that. Liverpool ONE, Speke Retail, The Metquarter are all great for shopping and food. Bold Street is especially good for independent restaurants. A city like no other in the UK - Liverpool has its own charm.

Liverpool is an amazing city with lots of things to do around. You can either go for a walk to the Albert dock or go for drinks to incredible bars or pubs such as the Alchemist. Nights are not the cheapest but you can always go somewhere.

Liverpool is one of the friendliest and best cities for a student to be in. Not only is there a huge variety of student amenities and a great night life there is a wealth of culture and history within the city. Shopping in Liverpool city centre can rival that of London and there are also so many things to do, sights to see and great places to eat in Liverpool. There are loads of vegetarian and vegan places to eat and so many boutique and one of a kind eateries. I would say that Liverpool is one of the most accommodating cities, not only for students but for everyone alike.

As there are three universities there is an abundance of university students, so there is quite a lot to do and a surplus of people to socialise with, furthermore due to the amount of students the prices seem to be greatly reduced for most things.

Great vibrant arty city, has so much to offer that other big cities do not. I find Liverpool an open and inviting place to be with a lot to do. If you like culture and museums there are a lot around. If you like good food from different cultures then its the city for you - showing off many local restaurants that many other cities do not. Nights out are great and you don't have to break the bank as there's always student deals going on and with 24 hour busses transport home is fairly easy

Liverpool is a great city for students. With four universities you can find so much to do as a student. The nights out are famous, yet there is more cultural and other kinds of entertainment on offer. Decent transport links including 24 hour buses, and easy links to other cities and various parts of the country. The city as a whole is very attractive with an interesting history and a friendly population.

A night out in Liverpool covers everything from smaller quieter bars to big entertaining night clubs to suite everyone. Shopping in Liverpool 1 is easy as all of your favourite shops are close to one another and the city centre is very clean and safe. There are plenary of things to do in Liverpool including numerous interesting museums and the docks, there Is also an odeon and some crazy golf places like ghetto golf. Some of the restaurants can be a little pricey on the docks but there are plenty of places to eat on a budget including Nando's Pizza Hut McDonalds and pizza express and there is a great variety of food places from Wagamamas and yo sushi to give guys so there is something for everyone.

Liverpool is an amazing city for nightlife, restaurants and shopping. it's completely suitable for all types of people; families, students and tourists. However, i would say the above average level of crime is a downfall but taking precautions on a night out is easily done due to lovely cab drivers and the close proximity in the town centre. overall an amazing and lively city to live in.

Visited the city during a Liverpool match in August with a few mates (aged 19-20). Very friendly taxi drivers to and from Anfield. Plenty of bars and restaurants around the city centre for entertainment after the match. Wetherspoons for cheap drinks near our hotel but the bars are not overly expensive anyways, and they have music in them unlike spoons. The city is lacking in a quality nightclub. We weren't impressed with the one we went to. It was very generic and overpriced. Takeaways Close proximity of Lime Street to the rest of the city, easy to get around the city. Definitely worth a weekend visit.

Liverpool is one of my favourite cities, it's cheap for a big city and has such a good atmosphere. Nights out are good, concert square is a place to go and a place called Cava, where you can buy £1 tequila shots all day every day. You must visit the docks, it's beautiful at night and during the day, with lots of museums and exhibits around there, Liverpool one is the number shopping place with loads of shops.

Liverpool is a bussling city with many things to see and do. The docks are a must for a quiet walk. And an unmissable experience is the view from the radio city tower!

I have moved from London to Liverpool to study at University. Liverpool so far to me has been a good experience. The city as a whole is not congested like London, but it has that busy city feel to it. I like city centre and Liverpool One because they have all the high street shops i one location which makes shopping convenient. And not too far away is Bold Street; a foodies go-to area. They have a range of popular restaurants and cafes which are particularly busy during the evenings. My favourite place is Torros (Steakhouse). In terms of living costs, accomodation is aplenty and very cheap. Whatever type you are looking for, they have it. I am staying in a private accomodation which is in short walking distance to my University and is very reasonably priced. Furthermore, grocery shops can be found nearly everywhere, mainly Lidl and Tescos. Sadly there is not a single Waitrose in Liverpool but every other typical grocery shop is here. I have not given the city the full 5 stars because I would like to see more fun stuff to do in the city, like some sort of public event, showcase or entertainment. They do from time to have such events, such as 'Liverpool's Giants', and now they have the Christmas markets, but something like a 'Winter Wonderland' would be great to see for example.

Liverpool is a vibrant city, full of life and culture. From visiting the Albert dock to shopping at Liverpool One, there is always something to keep you interested and don't worry, you'll always find a bus or a taxi to get you to your desired location.

There is an awesome selection of things to see and do around the city. Of course there's all of the touristy stuff to do with The Beatles, but there's also other attractions, such as the Tate gallery. The food selection is great, especially down by the docks. And don't forget Britain's oldest Chinatown.

Liverpool is one of the most vibrant and entertaining cities I've ever been to. I'd say it's the best place for nightlife and it has such a variety of bars, clubs, pubs and other places to go. The food joints are pretty varied as well in the city centre and the prices are good. People are super friendly and up for a bit of banter. Honestly one of the nicest places I've been in a long time. Absolutely love university here. I'd reccomend concert square as a great place for a night out-really open with great bar staff in all the bars, as well as Liverpool one for the best food and shopping. Honestly a great place for students all around to visit or live.

In Liverpool, there is a lot to do. There are plenty of shops and Liverpool One has a rooftop terrace which has a large variety of restaurants too. The nightlife is extremely enjoyable and there is a broad selection of pubs and clubs in and around the city centre. We also have lots of museums and historical monuments; including the 2 cathedrals and the liver building. The people in Liverpool are very friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere in the city is a positive one.

Liverpool is a great city to be a student. There's loads of places to eat and drink and great nightlife. Its cheap and the locals are very friendly. There's a large mixture of fancy places and student budget friendly places. Small enough that you get to know the city well but big enough that you don't get bored. Only downside is the crime levels in some student areas.

Liverpool is a great place to go as a student, having lots of places to go clubbing on nights out is a great addition to the many shops that are available here also. There is always a club doing a student night on every day of the week so no matter when you go out there is always a club doing offers on drinks etc to make your night cheaper. There is also plenty to do with museums and art galleries just a short walk away so you can go and explore, Liverpool is also the home to many great restaurants so eating out is just as good as the other aspects of the town.

Everything within the city is close together meaning that it is easy to travel around it. There are lots on restaurants to choose from in Liverpool one and the shop selection is also good
