Was pretty good for the price, didn’t have a common room or social area in each flat so didn’t give it 5 stars but overall a great place to live.

Personally I think it’s very boxy and has not a lot of good ventilation. The toilet, shower and kitchen do not have windows which makes it feel like a prison however my room is lovely and big with a nice big window but there is wall in front of my window which has a car park on top which people can see into my room from.

Absolutely loved my first year of uni staying in these halls, beautiful building with a great view (if you're city side), albeit the rooms are slightly outdated compared to the newer halls, with no en suit, but a lot cheaper! Rooms also don't feel like a prison cell because they're bigger with high ceilings and bigger windows!

For the price a good sized room, the location is excellent, right next to Lime Street Station and the building is very attractive. There is a pool table in the lobby, and the halls are well suited to both first year students who desire the social side but also students further into their university careers. It is big enough and sociable enough to meet new people and have fun, but quiet enough that you can have peace and concentrate. Overall excellent value for the money.

For the cost the accommodation is generally good, though that is considering it's the cheapest option. The staff are friendly and pleasant but the Internet is unreliable at best and the building in general has a grimy look.

Flatmates are bullies. Staff think it's acceptable and want me to move out. Probably one of the worst experiences at uni

Northwestern Halls is right in the middle of Liverpool city which is close to all the shops and nightlife and the university which is probably the best thing about the accommodation! Also it is pretty cheap and all the staff are incredibly friendly.
