Lovely city, amazing archetecture, friendly people, nice eats and a decent night out! The walk up steep hill is well worth it! and all the shops up that way are very cute.

The food and customer service is very well. It's always it's best. Sometimes there is a long wait depending on certain days of the week by but I enjoy eating and shopping out. There is a wide selections of restaurants so we are able to choose. The shopping centre has almost everything customers may want or need which is a positive.

Lincoln is a great university city. Student accommodation and houses are all within walking distance of the university campus which is right next to Brayford pool, a lovely marina surrounded by restaurants and a cinema. There are plenty of nights out to choose from both at privately run nightclubs and the student union. The student union is really involved with students and has their best interests at heart.

Love this city! The uni campus is central and easy to navigate around. The Brayford has loads of restaurants and things to do. The town centre has all the shops you could wish for and the nightlife is diverse and fun. To top it off there are loads of independent stores and historical buildings such as the cathedral which are fun to visit.

Lincoln is an amazing place to live. I am currently living here for university and I can 100% say it is the best decision I have made. Going from the countryside to the city was quite scary however I soon got use to it. There is an amazing wide range of shops which fit all aspects of life

Great mix of old culture and history and new facilities and fun. Big range of places for food and drink, decent selection of nights out.

The city is neither too big or too small. Because of this you can easily walk everywhere around the city so you don't need to pay for a car/public transport. There are many different shops in Lincoln so you will never be short on anything. The bus/train station also makes visiting alot easier as most trains are very frequent too.

Beautiful city with the historical sight of the cathedral. The shipping is brilliant as you have this divide between the locally owned stores with beautiful little must haves and gifts as well as the typical shops you get on every high street. It's also a safe environment with plenty of help from volunteers to help tourism flourish in the city. The university is also very close to the high street but cut off enough that students are free in their own space on campus. Additionally, most accomodation is incredibly central. You also do not need transportation to get anywhere, everything is in walking distance.

Lincoln is a wonderful city and has an amazing campus offering everything a student needs and wants. The accommodation is well located and so are the club's. I am excited for the next 3 years there.

I first came to the university because my boyfriend was there- I didn’t really care about the actual place. But now, in my third year, I’m in love with Lincoln. It’s a perfect place for students as everything is walking distamce, and if it’s not there’s public transport! There are lots of restaurants and pubs, and some good nights out too. The historical area is beautiful and the cathedral and castle are great for a day out and a good thing to entertain the relatives when they visit. Overall, great place, going to miss it when I leave.

Fantastic location in the town centre with lots of shops, restaurants, bars and clubs! Chain restaurants such as Prezzo, Nando’s and Wagas, so fairly reasonably priced. There are loads of fast food places too, as well a 3 supermarkets!

The location is brilliant and full of history with the castle wall and cathedral, and the walk up to both is enjoyable and has lovely sights over Lincoln.

Lincoln has a wide range of nights out and is a cheap enough city. Can be quite dangerous to walk around at night due to a homeless problem.

Excellent city , small enough so you can get to know a lot of the people but still not as small that everybody. Great for going out for a night or just a few beers. Really great experience here in lincoln would really recommend it

Although lincoln is a small city, the night life is awesome! A night for every day of the week, and some nights being legendary! The best part of lincoln being is size, nice and compact so walking everywhere is the only and best way to get around! Saves money on taxis/Uber’s and means your mates house is never too far away! Shopping is a little lacking however there is a shopping centre in the centre! Value for money is brill, apart from some of the old pubs near the top of the hill, everywhere else is student friendly and cheap!!

The variety of places to have a night out is great in Lincoln, there are pubs such as the Lion and Snake which is good for a few pints with some good friends but there are also nightclubs such as Moka, Circle and Engine Shed which put on amazing events such as Quack! and Lovedough. The food choice is also at a top end for an array of selection from Pizza express and Nando’s to Wagamamas and Chimichanga to also McDonald’s and Burger King, there’s something for everyone on the High Street is Lincoln. Also on the High Street there are plenty of shops for those shopaholics out there. There is also a cinema and a bowling alley which can keep people entertained for hours. If you want to go to a city that has a beautiful cathedral and a stunning castle but also can cater for all when it comes to shops and restaurants then Lincoln is the place for you and I highly recommend it.
