Excellent location, it's a 3 minute walk to uni and a 10 minute walk to highcross. The facilities are decent, you rarely have to wait for the washing machines and dryers. The kitchens are big and have lots of storage. The rooms are average size and the decor isn't modern but it is perfectly fine, there is also ample storage in the bedrooms which is a bonus. The only thing that people could say is a negative is that it is shared bathrooms, however I have never had to queue for the toilet or shower so sharing bathrooms is not as scary as it seems. Value for money is excellent compared to other student halls, with the facilities all being the same and the only difference being the shared bathrooms because most of the others are en-suite. Maintenance are good and do get round to fixing any problems, something which other halls have huge issues with. The only negative is there aren't any sofas or comfy seating.

Honestly the most perfect location from everything (Uni, a massive Tesco and town). Positives - The halls themselves are decent, a cleaner regularly cleans the toilet and shower. The rooms are a decent size with loads of storage space. Very cheap compared to other accommodations! Negatives - no communal space, only the kitchen which can make social communication difficult. Single bed (not too problematic). No en suits available. The internet can play up sometimes,

Good value for money. Personally think it’s the best location of all the halls- 5 mins from town, 2 mins from a big tesco, 5 mins from uni. Pretty decent for what you get for your money it’s nothing fancy but generally clean and fine.

pretty average halls i guess but not great lots of things break and you can hear everything like 3 rooms across.

I loved living in New Wharf at DMU, the kitchen overlooking the river and Castle Gardens was stunning. With the city centre at the just the end of the road meant it was in a prime and accessible location. The room itself was bright and airy with enough space for everything you could need. Still more than other halls but definitely worth it.

Really kind staff, feel safe and communal. The beds are hard but they are fine with a mattress topper

Fantastic! Plenty of space and loved the view from the kitchen. Cleaners were friendly and very good too!!!! People were friendly and we all got on well, and it was easy to meet people on the same floor. No common room as such though, so we couldn’t meet people beyond those on the same floor as ourselves.

Nice room but the walls are thin and it's always noisy outside. Plus the flies are always at my window because of the river. But nice room and good WiFi xD

If i'm being honest, the accommodation is pretty basic but it does the job and to be fair the rooms are a good size. Its cheap compared to other accommodation i looked at but its also not en suite but the vanity unit is fine. REALLY close to the gym, a massive Tesco's store and all you have to do is walk over the small bridge to get to campus (and to soar point which is a quality pub).
