Leeds has THE best nightlife. There’s something for everyone. Trinity shopping centre is always good for something you need food wise and clothes wise.

Leeds is a great place to go for uni! The nightlife is maddddd, lots to see and do and a great place to introduce yourself to new crowds and make new long life friends! There’s lots of restaurants and shopping opportunities in the town center so there’s never a dull or boring moment! You won’t ever be bored if Leeds is the choice for you!

Leeds has a great vibe with tons of really cool vintage shops, coffee shops and bars. As a student, you can take the bus for one pound which makes it super easy and cheap to get around. This being said, the city is fairly compact and you can walk to most places. The university is a ten minute walk from the city center. Leeds also has a great music scene with tons of really cool venues. It also has a great nightlife. The people in Leeds are alsp super friendly and lovely!

The location of Uni of Leeds, in my opinion, is brilliant. It is a 10 minute walk from the city centre and it is easily reachable by bus. There are at least 4 bus lines that pass right next to the uni so it's really convenient. There are some good small and cosy cafés around campus, there's a Tesco which is open until 00:00 and a lot of takeawayas that work 24/7 (good for night outs).

There is a massive shopping scene and lots to do. You can also get away by exploring the outskirts of Leeds for a quieter experience. Nightlife is really good and not too pricey if you pre drink beforehand!

Moving to Leeds from London was so easy, it was like moving to a smaller more compact London. The nightlife has something for everyone and is so diverse. The city centre is great and has all the shopping and food options you could possibly want.

As a location Leeds is blessed with both a wealth of things to do in the city itself and fantastic public transport connections which also enable further explanation of the North on a wider scale.

Leeds as city is a perfectly proportioned city with everything you need. There are plenty of options for nights out, restaurants and shopping. The only thing that doesn’t have as much of a variety would be things to do. Leeds on the whole is good value for money compared to other cities. The taxis are good value and public transport too.

Leeds is a really great city to go to for University, the night life is great plenty of options there is always events on at places like cannal mills, beaver works, warehouse and student union. The shopping side of Leeds is excellent as you have trinity and white rose, plenty of opportunitues to use your student discount and there are hundreds of great restaurants to eat at that also offer students discount. A really good event that they have to off is student lock in as this is where one night a year they give studnets loads of discounts in all of there shops.

Living in Leeds is amazing. In first year none of the halls of residence are too far away from the uni campus which is also just a short walk from the city Center so you’re never too far from where you want to go. Most students choose to live in hyde park in their second and third years which again is really close to uni and the city Center but still it’s own area which is populated mainly by students. Public transport isn’t really as much of a necessity in Leeds as in other big cities, but should you need to catch a bus it’s only £1!

Leeds is a fantastic student city with awesome nightlife, lots of shops and things to do! Great student feel and value for money. Headlingley, the student bubble, has amazing pubs and bars (perfect for the Otley Run.) Huge variety of nightlife from hip-hop to indie and house. Call Lane is a great spot too for some smarter bars. Beware though it gets bloody freezing in the winter but that doesn't stop everyone going out without a coat to avoid the cloakroom charges...

A very big city with lots to do, prices are high as a result but for some of the beautiful buildings and being in such an interesting place its worth it.

Leeds is obviously a very big city so there are lots of different things to do. However, it is a very dirty city, certainly more overcrowded than some cities I have been to previously. It’s also quite difficult to navigate around both on foot and driving. It is filled with lots of wonderful history

Leeds is a vibrant city. There are always loads of things to do including food festivals, the light festival and all the events in millennium square. The nightlife is great. There is something for everyone with places like pryzm and tiger tiger to canal mills. The shopping in leeds is great, with all the shops you could need. There are also the great shopping arcades from the Victorian era which I beautiful to look at.

Great university and a great location near the city centre. Almost Everything is walkable so don't need to pay for much transport wise. People are all so friendly and lots of student events are available to go to through the university or other friends.

I live in headingley, Leeds. It’s one of the best places, I love the pubs round here and obviously the Otley run. The shops are close, Uni’s close, and it’s full of students.
