Leeds is amazing! There’s loads of places to eat, drink, shop and party. The student area is always popping. The drinks are cheap and there’s even better offers for students. There is something for everyone when it comes to the Leeds nightlife also.

There is a lot to do in and around Leeds, amazing entertainment and so many different places to eat. With excellent transport getting around is easy. However it’s not always the cheapest so sometimes hard to afford for a student. But always a good time and fun to do especially for special occasions.

Leeds is a great city, particularly in terms of food. There are a whole host bring you're own booze restaurants such as Akmal and Mai's where a meal will set you back £6 to £10. Great shopping in town and the club Wire is a great club. The Fenton is the best pub with pints starting at £2:10 and staying open till 2 on weekends. The main issue for the city is transport, with no metro or trams and a relatively poor bus service. However fortunately if you traveling in a small group taxis are quite cheap, particularly the company Amber.

Loads of great clubs, food and shopping. Best place for students. Transport links are good, university is very friendly.

The student nights are good but city centre clubs on a friday and saturday are not great. Good selection of bars and restaurants, lots of nice independent places. Nicest place to shop! The trinity centre and the victoria quarter are really nice.

Busy town with lots of variety for restaurants and venues. Loads of character and culture. Many new and renevated shopping centres such as the Victoria Gate. Always things to do and something on. All the big chains are available as well as a great selection of independent shops. The same goes for places to eat. Not always the cheapest night out but there are lots of good options when on a budget. There will always be an option whatever your style of music or idea of a good time is.

Leeds is a fantastic city with something on offer for anything you're looking for. Great live music venues with a huge variety like brudenell, Belgrave, headrow house, o2 and more. Wide range of place to eat you can find anything you want with a great atmosphere so easily. A really big party scene and can always find fun in bars if you don't want to stay raving til 5am. They have heaps of activities and are super close to some fantastic nature in the dales.

Leeds is a small city/town with many students. You can do many things from dining, clubbing and much more. The transport is pretty cheap and the busses are up till 11:30pm If you're in the city centre walking would be the most ideal mean of getting to places. Enjoy your time at Leeds

The city is full of life, lots of places to eat, go out, to shop. Everything is very easy to reach, very safe.

The city is very nice with a fantastic transport infrastructure, there are many places to go on nights out and while the food is often overly expensive, there are lots of nice restaurants/takeaways. The quality and value for money in terms of food isn't as good as neighbouring slightly smaller cities like Bradford, but there's still lots of options with generally good standards. As for shopping, it's fantastic. Within the town centre there is a multitude of places to shop, including massive new shopping centres such as Trinity as well as smaller centres like the core and merrion. There's lots of things to do outside of food and shopping, in terms of minigolf or sports like football and cricket with Elland Road and Headingley Stadium nearby. I would recommend Leeds.

Leeds is amazing not only for shopping but food and drink with a large variety, costs range but overall offers an affordable day and night out

Good night life, clubs for everyone's taste. Large shopping area, most shops are in the trinity shopping center. There is also a large food court in trinity with so many interesting options. Over all leeds is quite a cheep place to live however, accommodation and student housing is on the pricier side. Leeds is very student aware and most bars and restaurants offer a student discount. Freshers events are widely on offer, through out the day and evening, giving you opportunity to meet new people and learn about the city. There are also many options for activities that don't involve drinking, including, bowling, mini golf, garlleries and many one off events.

As a city, Leeds is a go to place for the overall experience. A variety of nightlife, accessible transportation, activities and shopping malls including high street shops are within the city centre. Not only that, there are two universities located just outside the city centre so it's 'perfect' for students.

Great night outs! Variety of bars and clubs which suit everybodys wants/needs. Lovely range of restaurants, I advise Ambiente Tapas. Perfect city for students.

My city is great because there is a high percentage of students amongst the residents leading to a never dull atmosphere. There are infinite businesses that take care of our needs such as never ending the count of bars, clubs, restaurants even luxury casinos which help a poor student cover his costs for a living. Also is relatively cheap in relation to what you get, ovbiously you have to know the good places, but on average is good deals for the poor student who struggles to mantain his account balance alive.

Leeds is a great place for food, shopping and things to do. There is something for everyone with the markets, shopping centres like Trinity and Victoria, independent cafes or big chain restaurants.

Great city for students, everything is within walking distance with a varied price range in all categories.
