Easy to acces as a lot of public transport stop outside the campus and buses run frequently. Buses available on campus as well!! Very handy

Night life is good, there’s always events on, the food is quite pricy so be prepared to budget, there’s plenty of things to do and I think it’s mostly value for money.

Amazing city to call home for a few years. An eclectic mix of venues and parties which will suit any students needs and enable them to make new friends and socialise easily. Don’t come here with the expectation of a quiet night in. Something going on every night.

Leeds as a city is booming, with the best nightlife any student could wish for. Compared to other cities for a student nightlife, it's by far the best. Value for money is great, as drinks aren't overly expensive and the city itself has a lot of culture behind it too

Leeds is a great night out, with loads of varied bars, plenty of places to eat. Loads of different people all for a good time

it is a affordable city which is not too hustle or too peaceful. From university to city centre only takes 15 minutes of walking. There are many bus station available.

I think leeds is an amazing place for students. With the amount of universities and colleges within the city the community really feels welcoming to a young student, especially when moving away from home.

Seems like I was paying a large amount of money to live in flats that were not very efficient with maintenance tasks and the entire vibe from the flats wasn't nice, the staff never helped out at reception.

Leeds Beckett headingly campus is a great location of living at university. However if you plan to travel in then it could become a tedious task. Easiest way is to get the train, give yourself a good couple of hours to make the journey.

Drugs drugs and more drugs. Never seen sonmahy ket heads in my life. I haven't even left my halls. Couple of my boys having trouble getting it wet. My gay friend best them to it and he's got a smaller pond to fish in.

It was good city for student. It seems like little london. They have all entertainments and house utility. I will difinitely to go there again. There are lots of small hidden restaurant also. I recommend to go to small food restaurant also. Taste was amazing. And cheaper than London, It could be merit to go there. Perfect for student life.

I chose to study in Leeds mainly because of the city which has a wild nightlife but at the day time there are a lot of activities to chose for different people. Also, there are a lot of bars, restaurants for different tastes and that's a great opportunity to explore different countries taste.

Leeds as a location has everything you could want as a student! Not only is it a bit exciting city with all the shops and things to do you could possibly need, but it is so well connected! My home town is Liverpool and the route Home is so direct it only takes just over an hour to drive, or for only a fiver you can get the national express which takes just over 2 hours! Value for money here is great so if you’re coming from the south expect a large rose for £3 or less in most Student pubs! There’s a massive selection of nights out too so there’s something for everyone from massive nights out to pub quizzes every night of the week. It’s difficult to be bored in such a big city with so much to do!

So much to do on a night out. I’ve been here for three months and still haven’t been able to get to all the night life venues. There are a few crappy ones but other than those, the ones I’ve been to have been amazing. Very good for students, as the uni campuses are so central and near the main clubbing destinations. Great for shopping as well, with lots of great places to eat also. Las Iguanas is a major recommendation. Only downside is there isn’t as much cultural stuff to be seen as Leeds was once a very industrial city. However it’s not completely lacking. There are a few good museums/art galleries and there are a lot of performing arts events here. I would say it’s pretty good value for money as well. It’s a student-friendly City, and for the most part that includes budget.

I adore living in Leeds. It has the variety of London without the constant bussle of people. The shops are fantastic - you can find literally anything you want, from Poundland to Louis Vuitton. The city itself is very attractive and easy to navigate. The travel links are fantastic, but I’d avoid the city centre at rush hour, as it can take hours to get home!

Moving to Leeds is the best thing I've ever done. The main student area, Hyde Park, is so close to the city centre. The bus links to the rural regions of Leeds, like Ilkley, are so useful - you can do so much in this amazing city. The music scene in Leeds is also one of the best in Britain - especially in the genres of dub and drum and bass.

Great city with always something to do. Nightlife great during the week for students and for all ages on the weekend. Central in the north and being northern has friendly locals. Plenty of shops and restaurants to fill your boots and nice parks to sit in and watch the world go by.
