Headingley is the student place to be. Food is cheap. Drinks are even cheaper. And the nights out in town centre at pryzm and space are what it’s all about!

Leeds is an excellent student city. Perfectly combines nights out with a range of different shops and entertainment. The city centre is quite compact so nothing is ever too far away and the student areas are excellent to live in.

Loads of places to go shopping. Lovely arcades and new shopping centres. Not much sight seeing to be done though. Great place to go out - tonnes of bars/clubs/restaurants, great student city.

Excellent location, campus is in between the city centre with loads of shops, bars, restaurants and night clubs and Headingley which has great accommodation and lots of pubs and places to eat. Train station is 20 minute walk from campus and you can get basically anywhere in the country either directly or via York/Manchester. Great value for money for accommodation compared to other universities of a similar standing.

Leeds has got something for somebody... literally. I'm in my fourth year at Leeds and since being here it has developed so much as a city. Shopping is brilliant, always new places opening to eat and always loads of different events going on.

I chose my uni because I had heard so much good about it, and it had a great jazz course there. I had never been to Leeds before, so I didn't know the city, but I fell in love right after I came. It is a beautiful city, just big enough for me who comes from a small city in Norway. You don't get lost as soon as you just have an overview over the city, and you have a main city centre, instead of several of big places. You have everything you need in one place with a lot of venues for music, a lot of pubs, clubs, shopping, grocery stores and whatever you need. I just say, amazing!

The location of Leeds university is perfect. From second year most students live in headlingly/Hyde park area, a 20 minute walk from uni. And then from uni the centre is another 15mins away. The shopping in Leeds is amazing, we have the Trinity centre and the Victoria gets - both which have all the shops you could want.

Trinity leeds has the best shopping life, night life and grocery life. you would never need to walk for more than 15 mins to buy a grocery here . it is really convenient to have tesco expresss just a stone throw away

I am at Leeds trinity uni, it's difficult to go on night out as taxi cost lot and only hoppin nearby is morrisons but I like how quiet it is.

The general location in Leeds is brilliant. The uni has the benefit of being a campus university that is also within 10 mins walking distance of the city centre. Shopping facilities are amazing - trinity, Victoria gate and the markets offer a range of different shops and restaurants.

Leeds is a fantastic city to be a student it- the university and student living areas are both really close to the centre of town making it very easy to navigate the city. The campus is amazing with loads going on, as there is in the rest of the city. Leeds has a wicked nightlife with something for everyone- without the expensive prices of being somewhere like London! Highly recommend, everyone I know who has been to Leeds love it!

Leeds is a great area to study at university, it has a range of activities such as shopping, cinemas, ice skating, theatre, sports and lots of great pubs and clubs. The transport in and around leeds has easy access and buses frequent

Leeds City is simply amazing. With hundreds of free things to do in and around the area. The location is ideal for getting a train or bus to near by walks including ilkley, kirkstal abbey and York. Leeds was voted one of the top 10 places to visit in Europe, this list included Berlin. I feel Leeds it’s just London on a smaller scale but with this meaning everything is walking distance and also no worry about money as there is always something affordable. This city is brilliant and full of unique and independent places

Leeds uni is ideally located with an abundance of amenities, transport links & entertainment nearby. Nearly all students walk to university and can easily walk to the lively but manageable city centre within 15-20 minutes. Everything is at your fingertips.
