Perfect area, only 15 minute walk from uni, staff are really friendly, however washing and drying is expensive. Flats inside are nice with good facilities. Small double beds which is a plus!

It did the job! Having an ensuite was great and being so close to the centre of town was great but it wasn’t the most socialable halls. It depends on what you’re into though

The location wasn’t too bad because there was a bus that took you straight to uni, but if you had to walk it was an uphill struggle (usually in the rain) battling busy roads and city college kids. The Tannery itself wasn’t too bad. The rooms were decent sized and the furniture was quite nice but the curtains were absolutely disgusting. Why don’t we use w nice neutral colour? No let’s pick the bus seat pattern. The Tannery is quite quiet most of the time which is good if your course is heavy. It’s a five minute run from Warehouse which is just fab. I personally had an awful year in the Tannery because I was placed at the very top of the building with four international students who never spoke to me, and there was construction work going on for most of the year which would make my entire room shake whilst I was trying to work - but other than that, not too shabby.

Despite that the 15 minute uphill walk to campus leaves you sweating as you go on to enter a full lecture theatre and that the showers are like showering under a hose pipe, it's a pretty decent accommodation due to the fact it's very social.

I didn't apply to the Tannery so when I was allocated to it I had never even heard of it. Overall, the social experience was pretty dead but I was lucky enough to be on one of the more social floors. The rooms were nice with en-suite, but I would have rather been in a more social halls perhaps closer to hyde park that had no en-suite and a worse room.
