It’s a good distance to university and is very social and worth the money but is a little small on room size, only single beds

The location is great as it’s right on campus and it’s quite cheap for this- however you do not get an en suite which many other flats further out for that price would. It’s generally a very social accommodation

Great location - just a 2 minute walk to the university so can wake up right before lectures. Kitchen is very small for 10 people and gets crowded when everyone is cooking, but rooms are modern and nice

Good location, very quick getting to class. Can get very warm in higher flats and no lift so a lot of stairs to climb.

It was honestly a good experience. It's very near the law and business school and really about 10 mins to anywhere else on campus. Social life is really good. Only downside is sharing a bathroom.

Best location - On campus but a bit towards Hyde Park. Jack and Jill bathrooms are great. Decent sized bedroom, got everything you need - single beds but that's normal for first year halls unless you want to pay more. Great kitchens, good for socialising. 10 person flat but only 9 rooms, 2 people were in a shared room which can be hard if you don't get on. Good post system, you don't really appreciate it enough till you leave. Lots of big washing machine/dryers. Really sociable fun atmosphere.

One of few halls residences on campus, 5 minutes from the uni so this is amazing. However, there are no social areas in the halls other than the individual flat kitchens, which are horrendously small, not fit for 10 people crammed in like we had. Wifi is ok, frequently dropped out on mobile devices, though. They habe shared rooms which I did, which although are nicer and bigger, with an ensuite, they should not have shared rooms at all. Students need privacy and their own space for calm if not even for studying.

As it is one of the cheaper accommodations it is very much what you get what you paid for in terms of facilities. Quite basic but it is made up for with how friendly everyone was. We used to open up every flat in the block and have a block party as there are only like ten flats so you get to know a lot of people on nights like these. Uni is literally a two minute walk away as well so it helps for the lie-ins after a good night out and also means you’re inbetween headingley and town

Location is amazing, it’s a 10 minute walk to uni, and about 25 minute walk to the city centre. I was given B block which is the smallest block of flats so our kitchen/ communal area is half the size of the other blocks but our rent is cheaper so makes up for it. Flats only interact with other flats in the same block as there is no communal space for all the blocks. Rooms are reasonable and sharing a bathroom isn’t really a big deal!

Silverfish bugs in the rooms and bathrooms- they were not exterminated as promised. Office is only open on 8-10am and 4-7pm on a weekday. Bins get taken out & cleaned every day which is good. Only single beds. Expensive for what it is. Not modern and kitchens are poorly designed.

The location is amazing - it’s close to Hyde park (pubs etc) by also close to town and the university. Kitchen space is big and bedrooms are nice. Only downfalls would be the problems with silverfish and the lack of living space, Early morning fire alarm every Friday and that you can only get post at set times of the day Monday-Friday

I definitely recommend Henry Price Residences! The location is more than perfect, in front of the Business School in the campus, being close to all schools. Big kitchens, however, the size of the room is very small. It wasn’t a problem for me personally.

Although the rooms are adequate size for the cost our block has a kitchen half the size of all other blocks in the accommodation and I do not feel rent is adjusted sufficiently for this. The location is excellent and I understand this is what I am paying for however I feel 9 people require a larger kitchen. The shared en suite is an excellent feature that makes the accommodation affordable in comparison to private en suite accommodation however the strongest feature of Henry Price is the proximity to the city and the university for all student needs including shopping and nightlife. There is a lack of social facilities however possibly due to not many students living there however the staff are friendly and the caretaker is excellent and fixes most problems quickly

amazing location on campus, really good facilities, decent price compared to other halls, really sociable and nice atsomphere - would definitely pick it again

Great space very nice kitchen with good sociable seating area. Nice compart bedrooom that utilises all the space giving residents large storage area. Very nice shower with good water pressure and nice sink. On campus so close to everything

On campus, which makes it very convinient and easy to get to lectures. However we have had many problems such as the water not working at all for a weekend and power outages. Also the fire alarms are very sensitive, which was a big issue especially during freshers week .

Very good location and good kitchen facilities. Very social with large flat sizes. Bathrooms are shared between two which can be annoying. Expensive, but not bad in comparison to other halls.

nice spacious kitchen with good sized seating allowing for sociable mealtimes/socialising with flatmates, the fact there are two hobs means there is always space to cook. Compact room with lots of storage space. Collecting parcels can sometimes be hard as they have to be redelivered. Very close to campus - ideal location.

The halls is a really great place to be, it’s so close to the university which makes the walk to lectures so easy. As well as the octal aspect of the halls - having 9 people in the flat means you make so many friends

The location is great being so close to everything aswell as being far enough away that it isnt noisy. Having 10 people a hall gets you to lnow loadsa folk too

Only self-catered residence on campus. Good because it is on campus, a very short walk to the city centre. Located by hyde park. Some of the blocks have been renovated, though some not. An almost en suite, sharing only with the room next door. Quite a lot of people sharing, with 9 people, though this is good for social experience though it can get loud. Wi fi is not great as it is right on the edge of campus. Only social area is the kitchen. A decent size room with a lot of storage space.

No real complaints at all with Henry Price - ideal location which is counted as on campus but is on the opposite side to the city centre and so you don’t feel like you’re at uni even on weekends and love the “jack and Jill” bathrooms which are ideal unless you specifically want / need an ensuite (although there is 1 ensuite per flat available). It obviously depends on the sort of people who are in your flat / block but from my experience Henry Price is a really social residence - we made friends with the flat opposite on the first night and seen friends with a lot of people in our block. The standard rooms are quite nice considering the price, however I was offered a 2-storey room (only rooms on the top floor on one side of the corridor) which is ideal for me as it separated my living and work space, even though I am paying slightly more than people in the standard rooms. I’m really lucky with my flat in that we all get along well and so we socialise in the kitchen a lot, however I would say that if you really want accommodation with a living room and a tv etc then Henry price is not for you. Otherwise, for me the kitchen seating area is suitable for socialising, eating and working.

Great location, great socially, affordable, and good value for money. Only downsides are that the rooms tend to have a lot of maintenance issues and the head warden is rude & dictatoral. The room inspections are Draconian and assessment of flats is not done equally.

Location is perfect, right on the edge of campus and everything you could need is in walking distance. Pretty sociable sharing with 8 others but with that many people be prepared to be living with at least one person you don’t get on with so well. Rooms are small but you don’t need any bigger and I’d say its pretty good value for money
