Close to city and school. Super convenient location! Halls also have activities every month like CNY and movie nights. Good facilities with gym, laundry, common rooms and a theatre room to host gatherings over. There is also study rooms available upon booking with the receiption.

Perfect location - close to campus and the city. Tesco express right under the building. On-site gym, common area with a mini theatre, pool and boardgames. Cityside also organise events for residents - pizzas, crepes, drinks.

The location is fantastic- 2 minute walk to campus and 5 minutes right into the city centre (the trinity centre is a 5 min walk). The building is very modern and kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms are extremely nice. There's also a really nice on site gym but if you are serious about fitness, the unis main gym is a two minute walk away - you get membership included in rent. However I think this is the least social halls of them all. I am a drama student so am keen to talk to everyone and get to know people from my halls but I have literally met nobody from my floor other than the people in my flat! Everyone stays behind closed doors. Considering the halls has a huge common room and cinema room I think the wardens could organise a few more social events for everyone to get to know each other.

Location of Cityside is perfect (5 mins from uni, 5 mins from town) although being so central it isn't the quietest with building work and the hospital nearby. Cityside isn't the cheapest but I knew friends who were paying more and were in a much further location with outdated furniture etc. If you're willing to pay make use of the extras included in the cost such as the cinema room and gym etc.

Citysides location is perfect for me, I'm within a few minutes walk from all my lectures and seminars at uni. It's also very close to the city centre which is great for shopping and for nights out as I can walk to most places which saves me money in taxis. It's really close to The Edge gym too where I use the gym facilities and play netball. Cityside also has a gym which is accessible 24/7 which is great. One of my favourite features of cityside is the common room/cinema room and I use the facilities everyday. Cityside is nice to look at too with modern kitchens and bedrooms, and I always feel very secure as you need key fobs to get into the building.

City side is an excimer choice for student accommodation, it's on campus and a five minute walk from university. City side has many facilities such as: a gym, cinema room and a common room! The overall look is modern and new which makes it more appealing. One problem would be the cost, it is rather expensive, however it is also one of the nicest halls.

A bit like living in a hotel. Decent sized rooms, lift and stair access. On-site gym is soo useful for busy schedules and early morning work-outs. There are free goodies/food available on the front desk at least once a week. At Christmas time there was a free hamper full of sweets and drinks to be claimed while watching a film in the cinema room. The staff are super helpful, the handyman is a wizz at fixing anything that broke in our flat. Only problems that affected me were: shower pressure isn't very good at all, the shower head is fixed to the wall and there's only one cooker between 6 people which means you have to wait sometimes.

Location is perfect, really close to the university and city centre. Slightly expensive for what it is.

Perfect location for both uni and the city centre, as well as being super nice and clean as it’s so new! Plenty of people to meet - although most friends I met during freshers and then through mutuals or my course, not everyone in the block is super chatty like other accomdations. Also great facilities like own gym!

Great facilities, 3everythibg is quite new. Slightly too expensive. Really close to campus and to the city Center which is really convenient.

This halls is perfect if you are most interested in having good facilities. This is extremely luxurious living for students, my room was great, spacious and modern, so well equipped with lots of storage and plugs as well as the en suite with a shower meaning that I could spent as much time as I wanted in the bathroom while getting ready, a perk which many students don’t have. On site the facilities were great, a gym, a tv room, games room, laundry room as well as a shop and cafe basically on site. Location wise this halls is great, literally five minute walk from the university as well as a five minute walk from town, you very rarely have to get a taxi because everything you need is so close. The staff in the halls are also very helpful, maintenance were always quick to sort out any problems and reception would pick up mail. There were also halls executives on Site available 24 hours a day to help with any personal problems. The only downfall I can find with this halls is that the social life wasn’t amazing. Being such a tall thin building it meant that there wasn’t that many people to socialise with on your floor, however this isn’t a problem if you enjoy your own company. Overall I would say this halls is the best for someone who has a more luxurious taste and likes to have everything on their doorstep, and I wouldn’t recommend to someone who wants to make loads of friends and party every night.

I love just how close the halls are to campus, it’s only a 5-10 minute walk to get to most of my classes. It’s also great having my own room and bathroom which gives privacy. The kitchen and lounge areas in the flats are also really good.

Brilliant location in between town and uni. Really awful building works started just before Xmas and will continue till we move out. Made revision impossible

Amazing location so close to the University and town. Facilities are the best out there with an on site gym and en suite rooms. In my opinion best accommodation out there and if I could stay another year I would.

Really good location and facilities, everything is new and clean and the staff really help you and are very friendly. The room is a good size and has lots of storage space, and the ensuite bathroom is also very nice, clean and modern. Again with nice storage, it has a glass mirror cubed. Everyone i have met there are really nice, and the common room is good too. the residence often puts on events that are free, and they decorate the halls according to the season. Very close to the city centre, to the university and the edge gym. The onsite gym is basic but good.

The location of this accommodation is perfect, right in the centre of the city and the city campus, everything you need is a 5-10 minute walk away. Perfect for first year students moving to the city. Being next door to the central village residences allows great socialising opportunities, all around the site is well lit and secure. The rooms and the facilities are great! very spacious, however in the larger rooms with baths in the bathroom there could be a little more storage space for items and books etc. The social facilities (Kitchen/Dining area) are very spacious and all the appliances are modern and work fine. With the spacious environment in these social areas there could be more storage space such as drawers and maybe even the input of a dishwasher as there is space to do so and only one sink in the kitchen for 6 people. Social spaces on the lower floors near the entrance are great, pool table, cinema area, large TV's to connect xbox, playstation etc. to and spaces to do work, all brand new, very modern and great to be social. The gym onsite is fantastic, small, but has most of the equipment you need to have a good session, however because of its size it can get quite crowded during peak times which isn't always great. The rooms were very clean when ready to move into, and there were regular checks by the cityside team to ensure everything was still working correctly and nothing needed replacing or repairing. Overall I had a great experience living at cityside accommodation and would happily recommend to all students looking to move to leeds for the university. The cost of the accommodation is on the more expensive side, but the quality and security of what you get is well worth it. 100% the best accommodation I have seen at any university.

Good facilities, clean and modern the only downside is it is quite expensive. Location is great as I am 5 minutes away from lectures and 10 minutes away from the train station. I do keep getting logged out of the eduroam WiFi but I believe that is a university wise issue and nothing to do with downing students the company which runs cityside

It was amazing residence except when the water went off for multiple days and we received no compensation despite the fact that we were promised it!!! But lovely room, kitchen and common room.
