Out of all my friends accommodation i've seen mine is the nicest. It's very clean as the cleaners come everyday and recently refurbished so feels modern. Very good location as it takes two minutes to get to most of my lectures. I would only say the college bar could be better; it's very small and doesn't offer much.

Bowland is one of the founding colleges and one of the best of all of them. I spent 2 years with them before going to Lonsdale, and Bowland was much better. It has a better bar and location, as well as halls.

Really good location in the centre of campus so takes maximum 5 minutes to get to lectures. Lots of shops nearby. Most rooms are quite spacious with lots of storage (especially under the bed). The social area is quite poor compared to the other colleges. The bar is open at odd times and it quite small.

The location on campus is brilliant , allows you to meet new people each day and there’s always something different to do . The rooms aren’t that great they’re very old styled and there isn’t many facilities directly at your disposal.

Pretty good facilities, I had ensuite and shared a kitchen between 8. Felt overpriced though, the price was more because it was built slightly newer than other ensuite but I couldn't see the difference. Price also changed because some rooms were slightly bigger but you couldn't really tell and we had no choice whether we wanted this. We had a lift in the building which was really good. Wi-Fi signal varied depending on your room and some were really bad. There was an Ethernet cable in each room though.

Amazing. So amazing. Better than imagined. I’m in Ash House and it’s a Superior Standard accommodation. Love it

Was in Bowland halls, bathroom was damp and mouldy, kitchen was appalling and the drains smelled terrible. The only accommodation in Bowland that hadnt been refurbed yet was charged the same as much nicer on suite accommodation.

Really great especially Bowland halls! Good location close to everything! Near the library! Definitely would recommend it

-College is in a good location, close to a lot of lectures theatres, seminar rooms, main square (with shops etc) and the library -nice kitchen and communal area for socialising. There is usually enough space for cooking and also enough cupboard space. More freezer space would be helpful. -However a negative is my room is smallest in the flat as they are not all the same size. So mine room is very small but most flatmates have nicely sized rooms. -bathrooms are fine though only one has windows so can sometimes get a bit stuffy etc

I'm in Bowland standard halls which are super clean and quite modern. Huge windows which are cool, but gets quite cold in winter. My bed is the only one in my flat without springs, but the squishiness is very comfortable. Good central location (right next to Greggs, which kind of smells) and some very loud construction work going on at the moment. Close to my Literature lectures though!

Bowland college is right in the centre of all the seminar rooms and lecture theatres on campus (especially the humanities department) so is a perfect location! The rooms and sharing spaces themselves are all really modern, comfortable and clean- the Bowland porters being just a message away should something go wrong and they’ll fix it as soon as they can which is usually quite fast!
