Lindsay Hall

The buildings themselves are all very nice and brick made. Except for block F which looks like it needs some serious renovations. The Lindsay common room is a great place to go if you’re worried about making too much noise as it is soundproof. It’s also good to just study in. The launderette, bar, cafe, shop, and common room are within a two minute walk from all lindsay blocks.

Halls were decent, bit of trouble with mould in some rooms. Keele seem to be making massive improvements to halls now.

Whilst it is convenient to live on campus, sharing a kitchen and bathroom with 14 other people was not practical, nor hygienic. Some of the older buildings needed refurbishment. Rooms are a good size and Lindsay Bar is excellent for socialising!

Tons of fun and made a lot of new friends. Room was great with a sink in it and a great view of the fields. Quiet block. Nice blue color. sometimes moldy which was sad. Often fixed things quickly

My room is a good size, and the furniture it came with was in decent shape. However, the kitchens were almost unusable because of how many people shared a kitchen, and the hallways and staircases almost always smelled of mold. Good location though, as it's near Lindsay Bar and the Hexagon, which are both good places to hang out.

Great family block, lovely view of the fields, small kitchen but got cleaned well. Loved having a sink in the room and was a nice colour blue. Good size and good friends. P

Despite being in a good location and close to everything On campus The accommodation was not of a good standard and not worth the money paid for it, the people living in the hall were great but sharing a kitchen with only one working fridge between 13 people was not ideal, on top of this having no table or communal eating area meant the only place to eat was in rooms which had continuous Mould throughout the year

Poor quality accommodation, old, damp, dingy, needs knocking down ASAP. Spent my 2nd year here it was disgusting. Good theft and breakins were common. The room lay out was poorly designed. Radiator right next to the door so all the heat went under the door rather than in my room. Vile. Would not pay £5 to live in that place again.

No common areas to socialise except very small kitchen. 25+ per kitchen but only 2 cookers? Rooms are fine, more space than other halls.

Heating didn't work the day I moved in. Shower kept turning off. Not enough fridge space for us all. Microwave and hob broke within a few weeks. Took several days to fix.

The location is excellent for lectures and all of the societies I am part of, but the kitchens are rather small - especially considering that there is only enough room for me to have half a shelf in the fridge and half a shelf in the freezer. My room doesn't have enough cupboard space either, and the showers are not ventilated at all. Not to mention the inadequate, overpriced laundry facilities! Despite this, living here has been a generally positive experience, mostly due to the convenience of the location.
