It's located in the city centre so major shops are very close to the halls. The rooms are tiny but comfortable. If you face any problems, the people responsible are very quick to fix that. I have made some of my best friends in Andrew Ure!

The hall is near the uni, but also very near Aldi and the city centre. Good location except for the fact that all police cars, ambulances and fire trucks drives by with sirens multiple times a day. You will get used to it. The flat is very noisy, you can hear every little thing from your flatmates. You’ll get used to that, too. Nice people, nice location and nice year

Horrible, Dirty and smelly. The building reeks of mould and poo. The facilities and falling apart. The room is smaller than a prison cell and is not even close to worth the price you pay. Homeless regularly sleep outside the building. All in all - I would rather commute 300miles than spend another year in this smelly dirty and disgusting hole in the ground

The location is perfect it’s a 2 min walk to Aldi which is great for the last minute food shop, and it meant is didn’t have to haul heavy bags up hills and stuff. It’s also close to Argyle Street and so cafes’ bars and retail shops were all at an arms length. The facilities itself at the time were a little dated but I believe they’ve undergone some renovations. The space is great considering I shared both toilet, bathroom and kitchen facilities with three other girls. Collecting mail was also a straightforward process .
