Egham Town

Egham is simply the sh*tiest plase you will ever live! There is nothing to do, not many options to eat and the transportation to and from anywhere SUCKS. It doesn’t even have a Mc Donalds! The supposedly have a Burger King which is 40 minutes away from the university by walk, almost at the Motorway...

Egham is a pretty dead place for a uni and it’s very obvious that our uni keeps the place alive! If this is the case then I think it should be made more student friendly, maybe some clubs or cocktail bars you know, There are pubs and stuff but don’t really like being a little weirdo surrounded but many of the local snobs

This university is in the middle of no where, although it is labelled as a University of London it takes nearly 1 hour 30 mins to get into London, and with train tickets and tube rides this isn’t exactly ideal for the financial aspect of student life. Although there are coaches every now and again to take you away to clubs it seems unorganised from reviews. There are a lack of shops and food places around us. Atleast have a decent shop on campus that isn’t overpriced which limited stock and then atleast we wouldn’t have to walk 15 mins down Egham hill and another 30 mins up hill with shopping bags.
