Rats, mould and noise. That’s all, nice location but Kincaid has that too without the gross bits. Flat wasn’t very homely either, hardly ever saw flatmates because there’s no common area to fit everyone it to

Robertson's close and Kincaids are the best halls for location. Robbie a smaller than kincaids but was a really good community when I was there. Social is class, you'll make friends in freshers and there will nearly always be a group going out every night. Security aren't as bad here either as it's already noisy given its location on Cowgate and above pilgrim pub. 10/10 would recommend if you're someone looking for an exciting mad first year, wouldn't recommend if you like a quiet modern place to sit in.

Robertson’s Close is fun, well located and very sociable. However, I would rather become a nun and live in a convent than spend another year here. Every facility broke; our job, fridge, oven, toilet..... The wind blows through the walls, the heating barely works, and you better be prepared to have some furry friends scurrying around in the walls. If you’re willing to brave that for accommodation which is less than 5 minutes away from main campus, then Robertson’s Close may be a good fit for you.

Perfect location, if loud. Very good for sociability, even though the common room is locked at 11. Resident Advisors were pretty easy going. Value for money wasnt excellent.

The biggest plus is the location of this university to the main campus, groceries and local restaurants. It is also close to local pubs on cowgate and to the royal mile.

Old school but party central. Nice sharing halls big rooms great location. Would definitely recommend the location for the night life as you are practically on the Colgate and in fact above a gr8 bar.
