Very good for a night out. Has everything you find in a bigger city, just on a smaller scale. People are nice and helpful.

Has two great universities who work to achieve success and also a popular shopping mall with shop such as primark.

Small city but has everything in it. Safe feeling to it, even at night. Plenty of night clubs to choose from including an 80's/90's club, a club playing house/r'n'b music and also a few clubs playing current chart music. 2 main shopping centres in the city centre, best one being the Overgate.

I moved to Dundee to study at Abertay University and so far it's been lovely here! It's the second biggest city in Scotland, yet it feels like a close community and you're bound to run into your mates on the street daily! The nightlife is excellent, the people are friendly and it's generally a great fit for students. I enjoy hitting Overgate for shopping and my favourite place to get diabetes at is The Pancake Place. The sunniest city in Scotland doesn't disappoint with its mesmerising sunsets -- especially when they hit the Tay. I'm hoping to continue living in Dundee even after finishing my degree.

Location is perfect. The campus is small which allows you to get to leave tires easily. Shops/bars/pubs etc. Is all within walking distance from the university and flats are all nearby.

Going to university in Dundee is amazing! The city is just the right size - plenty to do but not too overwhelming as big cities can be! Dundee is the sunniest place in Scotland, and even when it isn't there are just as many great indoor things to do as there are outdoor. The city is right along the waterfront, meaning that there aren't just gorgeous views but also quick, cheap, and easy access to nearby beaches and coastal towns. Dundee overall is a very affordable city, which is lucky because there are so many amazing shops, cafes, and restaurants to go try out! It's filled with so much culture with museums both old and new, wonderful live music and festivals, and multiple theatre venues. Everywhere is very student friendly and there's so many pubs, clubs, and bars that cater specifically towards students. I absolutely love going to university here and would highly recommend Dundee to anyone.

Everything is so central- the uni is right in the middle of town and near the shops, there’s a premier shop on campus and a 24/7 bakery just up the road. The campus is right next to the union (which is amazing) and is perf for a 4am craw home

Dundee is fantastic, there’s everything you could ever need in the city centre and most things are in walking distance.

The nights out in Dundee for student are good especially clubs are very cheap. Eating out is a wee bit boring because there are no restaurant that change menus frequently. Shopping in the overgate and in the city centre is decent because you can find a lot of big brands.
