High Peak Halls

It’s not bad for Buxton but standards could be improved. Overall they try to involve students in a lot of activities as there isn’t much to do around, which is greAt.

Facilities were pretty poor not to the same standard that other halls have. Especially when it comes to other derby halls. Social events always seemed to be the same, location was good considering it was close to aldi meaning there wasnt a long walk for a cheap shop.

The room is quite good with ensuite toilet and shower, which you wouldn't have to snatch toilet with the people haha. Location wise of the hall is fine..not too far away from university, which is probably about 10mins walk to university. The Wi-Fi in the room or flat can be good and bad sometimes. As occasionally it can be that bad that u can't have a stable connection on facebook video call.

It's a nice place to live in your first year. In flats of 5-6 people and the common room is large enough to get together all your friends and it's makes for easy socializing. The rooms are ample size, big enough to live in with good quality en suite.

The staff is great and very helpfull, but we sometimes face heating problems. Its either too hot or quite chilly. The rooms are great too. The kitchen area could be bit bigger :)

Good location as it’s a 10 minute walk to uni. The rooms are a good size and the ensuite is nice to have although the shower is pretty small. The staff are lovely and make you feel safe.

The location of High Peak Halls is adequate reguarding distance to the university campus and the rooms are quite a good size.

the staff here are fantastic if we have any issues they help us get then sorted normally in a day or two, the staff regularly have events and day trips planned to give us things to do and if they haven't planned something we can allways always have a good night out in a local pub! if i could live here permanently I would do!

Great staff, looked after well. Lovely place. There could be more social places and would be nice for a lounge to be in all flats and an upgraded kitchen. Each room as an ensuite which i love.

Great place to live with helpful staff and everything a student needs to live a decent student life

Close to the uni, good cleaning crew, rooms good quality and minimum damage, rooms easy to clean too and keep tidy
