The shopping is very good apart from the fact that there is no Aldi in walking distance. Night outs are okay but there are only a couple of clubs that are quite often become very busy.

Average nightlife, great value for money. During the day time there is very little to do in the city centre apart from shopping. However transport links to the surroundings areas are good and buses are frequent.

Well located in the centre of the city. Transport available at all times. Easy and faster travel to nearby cities like london, Birmingham, etc.

The city is quite boring, not many clubs and things to do. The clubs are old, expensive and always overcrowded. We only have 2 museums and one art gallery, 2 theatres. The University is good, but feels like one gets lost in the big crowd of students.

Pretty quiet city, small as well but it's very convenient for students, prices are accessible, a lot of student accommodation places, variety of pubs

Didn’t know when I was accepted into the university, how the city actually is. But realising it now I believe it is an important factor to take into account while looking for unis. Prettybdull city life, not much to do except watch movies. Not enough places to eat or shopping malls.

Small city, not many places to visit. Transpirtation on Sundays is really bad. Same as in the evenings everyday. Not many places to shop. However good place because everything is reachable in 10 minutes.

Coventry is a bit of a quiet area, but it's close and easy to get to other cities like Birmingham and Leicester for nights out. Loads of places to eat and the shopping centre has all the essential shops. The uni is close to the train station and bus stops go right outside uni, there are quite a few car parks around the uni too.

Lots of places to eat out and things to do such as parks and relaxing, however could do with more niche places to visit or for classy entertainment such as multiple theatres.

Coventry is a great city, has good food and nice people! Might not have big shopping centres like in major cities, but you can get everything you need!

Everything is average to be honest. The food locally is good. Right next to Warwick uni is a cannon park shopping centre which has a lot of good shops like a 24/7 tesco, a wilco, an Iceland and stuff.

One of the best towns I ve seen, the shops have reasonable prices, and if you want to hang out no matter the time, there is always a place to go.

Coming from Warwick university the transport links are very good. The nights are great and cheap. The shopping centre is large with a moderate variety of shops, eating out is easy with plenty of places to go. Entertainment is slightly lacking but is by no means inadequate.

Only few propper clubs (3) loads pubs. Nothing more to do. Still quiet town. Few escape rooms, cinema, big shopping center, fresh vegetable market. Nice architecture. Can feed squirrels in central park.

A very small city but has everything you need. 3 popular night clubs, lots of shops and cheap food delivery.

I chose my university partly because it is located in the Midlands away from big cities, which gives it a very cosy and friendly atmosphere. Warwick University campus has everything you need ranging from restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, bars, clubs, and even a salon. However, one thing to keep in mind is that exploring out of campus is time-consuming and costly.

Coventry isn’t exactly a social hub but I’ve gotten used to it and it’s not that bad! In first year you hardly need to leave campus during term time except for nights out and the uni express bus has you covered which is brilliant because the lack of uber in Coventry makes nights out expensive!!!! Once you move to the years following first you get to know more about Coventry unless you move to leamington but then you’re travelling long distances to get to uni with limited buses which isn’t great!! Living in Coventry is the better option if you’re more interested in university being easily accessible! You can’t get a taxi to campus from leam if you’re late unless you’re willing to pay £25 haha. In terms of eating out and entertainment Coventry has a lot of hidden gems and as far as shopping is concerned Birming new street is a 30min train ride from Coventry and it’s got everything you want!!!

Coventry isn't exactly the most aesthetically pleasing city, however, for Uni it is perfect. Everything I need is very close by, public transportation is easy and relatively cheap with a student bus pass, and cost of living is not bad compared to many other UK cities. Because it's basically smack dab in the middle of the UK makes it easier for any travelling off term.

The location is perfect, about an hour from London by train and right in the corridor Manchester - Birmingham - London, making Cov easily accessible, the airport in Birmingham is literally 15 minutes by train too.
