University accommodation are a conflictuous subject. Its nice to live in a big building and meet people really fast, specially if you re new to the city. However there are a lot of things against you. Im going to talk about what i saw because of a friend living in gosford gate. If you were imagining a big new room... Forget it. It can fit your bed. That's it. What if your flatmates are d**kheads? (Judging you for drinking and partying but the next night they bring 20 friends over put loud music on and vomiting in your kitchen after drinking but refusing to clean). Upside, smells good xD, basicly every floor has a strong sent of "oreganos". And its fun to go partying and all you do is walk up or down the stairs.

Great accommodation, super central and near all uni buildings. Sainsburys and 24hour corner shop just downstairs. Spacious flats and great community

The receptionist makes living there worth it. The accommodation is at a high standard but is a little too expensive.

Staff are rarely in reception, and don't handle complaints efficiently. Whole building regularly smells of weed.

I’ve loved my time at Gosford Gate so far. The location is great because it is so close to the Uni. My flat is mostly great, I get along well with my flatmates and I love my room because it is a good size, has adequate storage space and a nice ensuite. The kitchen has good facilities but it gets messy quickly which can be frustrating because some people don’t clean as much as others. Although that is not surprising because it is a student flat. However, Gosford is a nice place to live and generally feels quite safe, but it is too easy for people who don’t live here to access the building.
