Lovely spot; not too busy, lovely people, lovely place. Not amazing for nights out(students) but there's still a fair amount of bars and pubs etc. Plenty of nice spots to eat.

Excellent for Christmas shopping and a hot chocolate stop at Costa when it's cold. Beautiful Christmas lights and late night shopping. Great bus and train links for a Saturday night out, Fantastic bars with cocktails and live music.

Carlisle is a nice city, with pretty much everything you need. It's nice because it's not to big so you can get to most things quite quickly and it's not to busy. The streets are nice and wide so you can get around without any problem. There is a vibrant night life with lots of pubs and bars to choose from. The town is historic and has lots of nice building. Carlisle is generally a nice city to be in.

Carlisle city has a wide range of shops and supermarkets for regular food shops. There are plenty of places to go for a night out and all clubs are closely watched with police cars always nearby to ensure safety. There isn't too much to do in Carlisle throughout the day except for shopping or Energi the trampoline park.

Carlisle is a rather small city, but it has a lot to offer. Due to the small size, everything is in good distance from eachother. People in the city are always very friendly and it isn't overpacked, which is always a problem in bigger cities. Nights out are always good value for money and the bars always have a great homely atmosphere. As for shopping, the essentials are all there and for shopping it's a lovely day out, however there could be more. From Carlisle, you are close to the Scottish border and not far from the beautiful Lake District, meaning there are a lot of opportunities for days out and having a go at some of the outdoor activities Cumbria has to offer. There are also convenient travel options to these places. All in all, you shouldn't underestimate Carlisle as a city.

Brilliant shopping, lots of takeaways just wish there were more things to do. Prices are very competitive and cheaper than where i come from. More things need to be available for students but access to restraunts if good.

Good views, easy to get around, everywhere is within 10 minutes walking distance. Takeaways aren't too bad, overall a decent place to be.
