There's a load of clubs, pubs and places to eat out which is great for uni students, and a load of shops and cinemas. But other than that, there's not really too much to do. Everything is very cheap though

Someone described Cardiff as a small London once, while its not completely true, it’s not completely untrue either. Cardiff has all that you could want out of a city, a good night live that caters to every genre of music. It has a variety of shops and you’ll never leave feeling as though there was something that was missing. It has a value for money that you’d struggle to find outside of northern English cities and it’s friendly and welcoming atmosphere does wonders to demonstrate how great of a city Cardiff is

Like the city center. Not that busy that you can expected for capital but at the sane time has everything that you need and even more. Every time can explore something new.

The student afea is a perfect location with everything you could need within walking distance. Theres lots of shops and take aways to choose from within a 2/3minute walk of most houses within the student areas. Lots of diverse music events being run by different promotions, meaning you don't have to do the standard boring clubs!

Great city! Lots of night life. Great shopping. Loads of places to eat. Really pretty too when it’s not raining.

Cheap, fun, varied nights out. Something for all to do, be it the castle or world class rugby or sport. Decent shopping too, St. David's centre is a highlight.

So many new places to eat whether you are a full on meat eater (cafe brazil) a vegan (ATMA) or anything in between. Cardiff has all the high street shops that a bigger city would but they're in a much smaller area meaning less walking, charity shopping is made easy with Albany Road being full of them. Cardiff is also great for living nearby to friends, everyone moves to Cathays for 2nd and 3rd year and that means that your friends will be a max 15 min walk away!!

Got a good range of almost everything. Good restaurants, good value for money, Don't have to travel too far to get to places. Great nightlife. Got a couple of museums. Good transport for the most part. Want more of a art scene, more exhibitions etc

Fantastic nights out, various different places to eat food including big chains like Tgi Fridays and Frankie and Bennys. A really good shopping centre with over 100 shops right the centre of cardiff with loads of activities such as mini golf where students get 20% discount and a deal for after 5pm on week days. Bowling and laser tag in the cinema plaza with great deals on certain days in the week also.

I chose to come to Cardiff because I wanted to experience busy city life without being in a big area that required public transport to get around to places. Cardiff is a beautiful city that ticks those boxes - the fast-paced city life and small enough to walk everywhere you need to go! There's plenty to do, with lots of non-commercial coffee shops and cocktail bars and places to eat. It's always fun when the rugby's on too! Cardiff is also one of the cheapest places to live, which means you can spend more on the fun stuff!

The location of Cardiff Uni is very convenient. I can cycle everyday to school easily. Since it's near the centre of town, many shops and pubs are easily accessed so that I can enjoy nights out and shopping. Beautiful parks and castle close to uni, I can have a run regularly after school. I like museum as well, and the national museum is just 4 min walk from where I study. Perfect!

The location of Cardiff Uni is very nice, which is near to the city centre and other amenities you need. You can get high quality of food, shopping, or pub in a relatively low price.

Many supermarkets around. Good value for money at supermarkets. Good night out can be had in main town. Most student flats are close to University. Good shopping available in town. Only drawback is how dirty the streets can get from rubbish.
