Cardiff is a lovely city, someone's always playing music in the streets! It's also not expensive and has got great night life. But outside the lively center you'll find beautiful parks and quiet seaside :) it just has it all!

A large variety of restaurants, bars and clubs. Not as much to do for a capital city but still various activities. Great shopping but a few shops not available.

I really enjoy my stay in Cardiff so far! Everyone here is really friendly! It's not a very busy city and yet you've got most of the entertainments here! (Especially when I lived in the town) Cinemas with student price are just walking distance away! Shopping centers are easy to access! There're a lot of pubs or bars for you to hang out too!

There is always lots and lots to do. Right in the heart of everything with easy transport links. Be careful with buses, they often run late. You can shop till you drop and there are plenty of eateries so you are spoilt for choice!

Cardiff is a wonderful city with endless things to do. Visiting Cardiff Bay is a great chance to get a meal out by the marina, particularly is the weather is on your side! And if you are studying anything like History, or even the gothic genre in English, then Cardiff Castle is also well worth a visit. There is plenty of places to go shopping or out to eat in the Capitol Shopping centre, and I believe there is also a cinema (&theatre) to enjoy some free time too. Plenty of transport so getting around is accessible and easy.

The Welsh capital may have begun its life as a Roman fort, but it's since become a bustling city. Where the fort once stood, Cardiff Castle has held court since the 11th century. It remains a central presence in the city, now full of lively art and music venues, hip boutiques, fun bars and modern hotels. Even with so many new and exciting things to see, the National History Museum is still the most visited attraction in Wales. Don't be the only visitor who plays hooky!

A great city with lots to do - never a dull moment. However, despite it being a capital city it still feels homely and doesn't break the bank either.

Cardiff is a small town, because it is a capital there a lot of things to do and because their are 3 universities very close together. Cardiff University, South Wales University, Cardiff Metropolitan University. It’s a very busy environment, with many nightclubs, parks, events and concerts. There are a lot of supermarkets to meet your needs aswell as Super Stores between 15-30 mins away. There are a lot of restaurants with 2 for 1 meals, and happy hour aswell as student discounts to help keep your pennies.

The location is really good. Close walking distance to basically everything. Some lovely cafes, tea shops and shopping options in Chester centre as well as general tourist attractions for when family visit. Many bars, clubs and bars also for a fun night out on the town with friends.

Cardiff is the cheapest city to live in for a reason! Cinema tickets are less than £3, pints are cheap and the rent on houses are pretty good. The shopping in Cardiff is incredible - there’s a huge array of shops. Cardiff really come to life when the rugby is on. The welsh spirit infests the city and with cardiff football team being promoted, there’ll be more and more match days this coming year.

Cardiff has a number of clubs catering to a wide array of music styles and preferences. There is both a large student scene and also a organic growing scene for underground music. Food in Cardiff is diverse as well as most major reasturant chains we have many smaller places to eat which are cheaper. The st David’s centre is huge and provides a great shopping experience, with lots of flagship stores and large department stores. There is lots of things to do in Cardiff and also many excursions a short journey away such as parks, mountains and beaches which are all great for days out of the city. As far as valuebfor money goes cardiff is cheap to live in, there are plenty of discount supermarkets and cheap places to eat and drink. Rent is also cheaper in the city centre than many other cities.

Small enough to get around easily but packed with everything you could possibly need. Great transport links to the rest of the country with amazing beaches and hiking on your doorstep too

Being a student Cardiff is the best place to be. Rent is cheap and so is food, if you want a movie ticket it's only going to cost you £4. The value for money you get in Cardiff is like no other university city. There's also plenty to do on a night out as well on those days you can't manage another drink. There's a great public transport system and there's Uber too.

The food shopping and nights out are all perfect apart from accommodation is quite far from the city centre and it can be quite dangerous to walk back

Cardiff is presumably the best city in the world! The bars, the nightlife, the location, entertainment! Nights out are fantastic! It has everything. It’s the capital city of Wales and Cardiff City are in the premier league! Not forgetting Cardiff Bay where you can take boat rides and watch amazing musicals at the Wales Millennium Centre.

Cardiff University is located perfectly by the city centre. The city itself offers a whole wide range of activities, from a large night life scene, to other adventures such as exploring the Brecon Beacons. Perfect university choice for anyone from the south of the uk.

Cardiff is a fantastic student city and the university is perfectly situated on the edge of the city centre. Cardiff is definitely my favourite city in the south of the United Kingdom, offering a great night life, a bustling city centre and options such as Brecon for days out.

The nights out are usually too eventful and a bit same-y, although cardiff nightlife is ingenious in the ways the manage to cause havoc. Drinks are overpriced but good quality and the people are lush. The best part of Cardiff is the abundant greenery!

OK so location! Cardiff is great in terms of its location, not to overcrowded and everything is pretty much near with honestly no driving needed! You can use a bike and then not need to spend money on the gym! The shopping centre is big and very much in the centre of Cardiff with a variety of stores and restaurants! Lots of activities too from horse riding, ice skating, swimming and rock climbing! Also let me tell you somthing especially for the students...you're gonna love this! Cinema tickets on cost £2.90 here yes I said it £2.90 at cineworld! Go on tell ur friends, let's move to Cardiff! It really is amazing here.

the best thing about this is my new trainers and I’m going back to the gym now. I’m not sure what you want me to do but I’ll probably get it done and then I’ll send it to ya. You should probably not be able to get the money. I’m sorry but I’m not doing anything
