Talybont South has a great social life and there is always something going on. It is very lively and the accommodation itself is pretty good, each room has an ensuite and the shared kitchen is decent. The location is pretty good, not the best, but most students live in Talybont so it is easy to get a taxi into town or walk to the SU with a group of people.
fab place, although could do with a bit of a renovation. apart from that i had a class time when I was there for my first year of uni
The halls have a great social atmospher. The room is a decent size and the facilities are clean. The location is just a 15 minute walk from the university campus which is practical and about a 30 minute walk from the city centre.
Fairly small rooms but big enough. Glad to have a bathroom, modern and decent size. Silverfish a bit of a hassle.
Best halls to live in if you want the proper freshers experience and don't mind the buildings being run down. Not luxurious or high-end but can guarantee you'll be paying less than your friends at most other unis, and there's always a party going on.
