The rooms themselves were spacious with a sharing ensuite bathroom including a bath. We had a few issues with hot water in the flat but they were dealt with at reasonable times. The location is fantastic, very close but socialising is limited as there are not many other in the hall (80ish). Though socialising allowed everyone to get to know each other. I would recommend for location and the rooms.

Aberconway is fantastic, all told. Location is brilliant for my lectures at the school of music, a short walk from town, close to the train station and our SU - couldn't be more ideal! Facilities also good, laundry on-site open 24 hours which is really useful. Clean and tidy halls, everything you need, no frills but I like it. I also like how small it is, with only 70 of us we all know each other and are really social, holding flat parties and going out together. Room sizes are also very good, positive comments from Taly residents who are jealous! Would recommend highly.

Location amazing, 5 mins walk from uni with a cut though to John Percival and Lidl, BUT it is far too small and there is no community atall. It is full of international students so there is no balance. There is very often no hot water or heating problems. There is damp painted over constantly and windows are mouldy. Bathrooms dark but there is a bath. Just very quiet and not the halls experience you expect.

Great location, close to all the uni buildings and to town! Great facilities, even has a bath with a cleaner that comes in every week! Fire alarm goes off atleast 5 times a week and it always is a false alarm by something faulty! Wifi isnt the greatest but what do you expect when so many peoplr are using it

I hate my halls, everyone is international I'm outnumbered. The place is boiling, there's often no hot water, it's overpriced and unwelcoming.

I hate my halls, it's full of international students there is no balance and no social life. The place is boiling hot, right on the road and unwelcoming. There is often no hot water.
